nice video in the maple leaf lounge i saw video this couple were flying on air canada from vancouver to sydney they had personal chef in the maple leaf lounge

It’s very possible they had access to the signature lounge which is far better than the regular maple leaf! When you book with points you unfortunately don’t get access to it.

Very nice video! Such a pleasant commentary from you both. Good news about the food! Was surprised that you had to make up your bed yourself. I thought the FA's do this for you. Enjoy your travels and stay safe!

Unfortunately not because when a business class booking is made with points Signature Suites are not accessible!

That is so unfortunate. Best part of signature class. Amazing menu. Amazing selection of drinks..etc. Maple Leaf lounge vs Signature Suite…no comparison.

If you guys are complaining about the lounge food in YYC and YVR intl, i would hate to see you in YVR Domestic

Haha we’ve visited a couple of the lounges in domestic and it’s average for Canada we’d say! Don’t get us wrong, we’re really grateful to be able to relax at any lounge before a flight but compared to the experience you get in Asia or the Middle East, there’s a lot to improve on!

@@LaurenJason That explains why the Signature Lounge is not like a zoo compare to Maple Leaf. Guess most parents would not pay full price for screaming kids in Business class.

Great video, could you clarify what you meant by the last day of serving prepared meals? Is it just the dinnerware that will change or the type of meals entirely?

Of course, so our understanding is that they’ll be back to properly preparing/plating the meals in the galley, whereas when we flew, the food was prepped prior to the flight and they heated it up as it was during the flight. So some of the food wasn’t as fresh tasting as they should be now!

Seats look nice and comfy but yeah the lounge is fairly lackluster, could be all lounges in NA 😂

How come no access to the signature Suite Lounge at YVR? As an AC cx in long haul business you should have access unless you booked on Aeroplan pts in business non-flexible?

Yes that is correct, we booked with aeroplan points hence we weren’t able to see the suites lounge unfortunately!

@@LaurenJason I didn’t realize that business lowest on points doesn’t give you access to the signature lounge! I’ve booked business lowest rewards on aeroplan before and my tickets always printed at the counter as J or P with access to the signature lounge 😱

AC getting lower and lower in service standards for its products, incapable to compete with most developed countries’ airlines .

I find these types of biz class seats horrible. It is so cramped when you have it in bed mode. I kept knocking my knees when i turned over.

Ah we can totally understand that! Especially when you compare it to some offerings from Middle Eastern airlines or Asian airlines, it won’t be as luxurious or spacious!
