It's late, and you may never get this, but after a month of research, and seeing many other great configs in this case, yours in the parts list I customized. I went with the 5800x and the 3080 FE. I learned in another channels video that this is a good case to wrangle with the FE's unique passthrough airflow design. Your side + top exhaust and use of the Shuriken cooler was the last piece of the puzzel. Thanks so much!

For those interested, using a Noctua NH-U9S with side bracket lets you mount a slim fan between the cooler and the bracket which is so nice because U9S is pretty prowerfull.

Appreciate this! Rare to see full air cooled compact build. I refuse to use water cooling due to increased maintenance and risk of leakage I don't even want to deal with insurance offered by aio manufacturers.

Already seen a Fuma 2 cpu tower cooler with a Raijentek Morpheus 2 GPU mod on reddit. With the ability to fit that level of big air cooling this case really nails it. Now just need to wait for Zen 3 and next gen gpus.

Just wanted to give out an information - *Some mATX motherboards DO FIT* in this case. *Asus Prime B450M-K II, Asus Prime A520M-K, Asus Prime A520M-E* - these motherboards actually do fit and works well in this case, there are many more mATX motherboards that fits. The motherboard needs to be less than or equal to 22.6cms in height to fit into NR200. Also ROG Maximus Gene is not a good option for this case, as the pcie x16 slot is one slot shifted down in that motherboard, so only 2 slot graphics card will fit into the case with maximus motherboard, that means no botton intake fans possible. Also maximus gene is very wide, whereas the asus prime options mentioned are smaller in width too.

Really appreciated video. I think i will go with a classic small tower air cooler for cpu, without side fans. Thanks for show gpu and bottom fans space: ~40mm gpu and 25 mm fans height should be fine, with no big interference.

I would like to point out, the noctua nh u12a, yes the 158mm cooler, does fit in the nr200. You do have to remove the side bracket and the mesh filter on the side panel.

Subscribed after this nice series of videos, I love how you explain as much as possible. This is going to be my first sff case and honestly I was going to go for an air cooling build until I've read your reply to a comment where you state not to go for air cooling with a TG. Do those side intake fans really matter that much? Would an only exhaust fan build be so wrong? I am also worried that the bottom intake fans could be too close to the gpu fans...doesn't the airstream of the bottom intake fans mess with the gpu fans?

That CPU cooler is excellent, especially compared to how low it is. Im using it in a modded SG13 with SFX psu and there is 20mm of space between them. If I were to go for the nr200 later, I would still not change the cooler.

Great video! Noise levels are my priority. Do you think you can get away with just a top exhaust fan and the same CPU cooler and fan in this video? I.e. no bottom or side fans. I have a 3600, Strix B550i, Asus TUF 3070 and am coming from an NZXT H1.

I’ve got an asrock h110m-hdv r3.0 in that case, according to asrock it’s matx. I can confirm it fits but forces you to use the bottom two pie slots.

SOME mATX motherboards do fit. A normal mATX board is 244mm x 244mm but the NR200 supports up to 244mm x 226mm so some smaller ones like the AsRock B550M-HDV are fine. It says on their website the specifications of motherboard size.

Nice vid but there is some crucial info missing, nowhere do you mention the fan orientation ie which case fans are input and which are out . Is the cpu cooler fan blowing down owards the cpu or away from the cpu? Did you try without the bottom fans ? as often having 2 fans close together causes a lot or turbulance and actually ends up in less airflow.

Hi I would like to ask, in this setup can you swap one of the fans with a 3.5" inch drive in rad/hdd panel so that the panel would contain 1 fan + 1 drive? Also would two 3.5" drives fit in this case, if one is screwed in the PSU shroud and one screwed in panel?

i always wanted to know if the Scythe Big Shriken 3 will have enough clearance between the heat sink and the mobo shroud, this vid answered my concern. that CPU cooler is definitely a great choice. I'm gonna buy the exact same cooler, but I'm will replace the default fan from Scythe with a Noctua chroma black 120MM fan.

With Itx cases I found exhaust set ups work well, how do you think this set up will do if you set the CPU cooler fan and side fans as exhaust as well? That way hot air from GPU and CPU is getting removed.

Oh, that seems like a really good option for an SFF build. But, does the dust filter chokes the fans on the side or is it okay ? I'm asking that cuz I know dust filters usually choke the airflow and, in such a small enclosure, this might to be great for thermals (and yes I saw the graphs).
