I’ve been coming back to this video every Year in spring. I guess when you go from heat in the morning to AC in the afternoon every day, it wears this out. Thanks for skipping the bullsht introductions and thanks for not trying to overexplain every little thing. If I’m watching a video on getting deep into the dash, I probably know that I’ll need tools, disconnect the battery, don’t scratch the trim, it’s gonna be tight, blah blah blah.

This guy gets it done in no time. No-nonsense video that shows all the steps required. Great video!

Thanks for for the video. I had problems with the spline lining up, so I connected the harness, started the truck up and messed with the temperature. I watched the actuator shaft rotate, the splines lined up and the actuator dropped in. Then I mess with temp some more watching the actuator rotate until the mounting screw holes lined up. AC working now.

Great video! Thanks for the walk through. Clearance on the 3 bolts was difficult on mine, but luckily I got the TEKTON 18063 Stubby Combination Wrench, 8 mm on AMZN and I was able to get'er done. It took a while though, but my heat is now working after years! I am not a Dorman fan at all, so I went for a Motorcraft part which is also on AMZN, part Motorcraft YH1752 for my 2007 F-150, and it's pretty cheap too.

LMFAO the car places were telling me it was my heater core. Thank you for this. I heard a clicking noise everytime I tried to turn on the heater and I would only get cold air. What a RIP off for these car places to pretend the issue is more than it is.

Do you know where the Air cabin filter and resistor is located at? I have an 06 f150 harley Davidson Edition
@samcates32573 жыл бұрын
No sorry I don’t.
@jamesg8633 жыл бұрын
The 06 generation does not have an Air Cabin Filter. I believe it's the 02-08 models, but not 100% sure. Mines an 08, and likewise there isn't one. There is a modification kit that you can buy that let's you install one, but by factory you're without. As far as the resistor, which resistor are you referring to?
