I'm a Libra but I'm never into more depictions of Libra. A lot of times it's literally just a scale, and if it's humanized, it's a pretty lady with a scale. But here, not only have you integrated the scales into the character's body, but you have all kinds of symbolism. The colour combo is so pretty. She looks otherworldly

Hi! I work at an engraving shop and we make things like that doll stand base all the time. That stand looks great, and a fantastic way to elevate it is to use a metallic fill in the engraving. I don’t think I’m allowed to say what product we use (sorry 😅) but acrylic paint works well, especially if you use a low stick tape like painters tape to create a stencil while you engrave. As far as design suggestions go, I think glittery acrylic matching the prominent gem color for each sign would look great (especially with the fill method to help the engraving stand out). Since you have the symbols on the dolls themselves, it isn’t as urgent to have them on the bases, but having the constellations featured on them is awesome. Another thing to consider is that you can cut any shape you want out of the acrylic thanks to your laser. Maybe you could have a way for the stands to lock together like puzzle pieces?

The re-do of the faceup definitely was the right choice. Both looked great and I would never have questioned the choice of the first version but the 2nd version was sooo much better and I would have never guessed that it could get better. ❤

For the stands, it would be super cool to paint the engraved details in either white or in the color scheme of the doll. Alternatively, you could paint some things and use faux gold leafing on other parts, like the stars!
