Our inaugural project features a complete restoration of a pair of Bapsta AF1s. These iconic kicks arrived with soles cracked in half, and the owner's DIY attempt left much to be desired.

Just today I´ve got my ´08 Kaws pair back from my local shoemaker. Went in there with the same exact problem of a desintegrating sole but I actually had a period correct replacement sole from a trashed patent leather pair on hand. The dude compleatly butchered the stitching and the reglue isnt the best either... These turned out soooo clean. Im happy for the owner but kinda sad now that im presented with how it could or rather should have been done... :( Great job Vic, as always

I just had one question, how come not dye the sole/midsole as black as possible to make it the black on black like it was? I get the white to to make it pop, I just was confused why not keep it as og as possible

Came out looking sick AF. I may have a pair I don't recall ever seeing you do anything with. How about the Grey/White Air Vick 2s from 2015? LOL. Idk why but the Grey/White Air Vick 2s have bee a favorite of mine since they came out. Mine are still in pretty good shape (as far as the whole upper goes) but both air bags are blown out, the soles are pealing apart and they're yellow as hell. I know Nike will never do a remake of them but really wish they would just so I could get another pair to wear once again. I'll send you a few pics and whatnot and see what you think.

Damn those came out incredible. The white soles pop so hard the only thing I would change would be to white laces to go with the soles. Other than that you absolutely killed it. Love to see vape shoes nobody ever has them. Alot of people think they are corny and a dunk rip off but I think they are sick as fuck. Amazing results 👏

Hey Vick, i've noticed you have slowly started moving away from angelus paints and stains. Anyway you can elaborate on why? I'd imagine it's because angelus paints always clog up in the airbrush. And the suede dyes always rub off even after setting up. I've personally had a lot of issues with them.

I think it would’ve been cool to keep the shoe original or like as original as possible by using rep bapesta soles instead of the af1 soles but it still a cool restoration
