Along with patting dry, spray very lightly with oil along with light coating of rub, cook at 400 for 19-20 minutes (flip half way)….I’ve had a lot of success with crispiness, even without baking powder. They come out looking like the color of your smoked turkey!

For sure, tossing them in light oil before throwing them in the air fryer does help a lot.

Air fryer trick for wings...poke them with a fork or knife to let the grease render from under the skin and cook them for abt 20-22 minutes and u will have guaranteed crunchy wings...don't forget to season them b4 you put them in the air fryer...remember guys seasoning is ur friend 😉

The air fryer has a lot to do with it.. a good convection oven with lots of air moving does the best.. I tried em vs deep fried.. and I couldn't tell

I'm calling you guys out LOL.....I do wings in my Ninja Foodi and to get them crisp its 20-24 minutes for about 10 pieces of wings (single layer in the perforated basket) I can tell you that they are plenty crispy that way. I go 10 minutes, flip then cook to desired crispiness. Usually 20-22 minutes total at 400*. Benefits are no grease and healthier as well. Try and see, but you undercooked them that's why the skin is not crispy. Hahahhahah !
