AIR FRIED PORK RIBS
Tender and juicy pork ribs marinated with carbonated drinks that helps in tenderizing the meat and enhancing the flavors.
Ingredients:
Marinade sauce:
-1 ½ cup Sprite (lemon-lime flavor)
-1/4 cup honey
-3 tbsp brown sugar
-3 tbsp soy sauce
-1/4 tsp black pepper
-1 pc bay leaf
-1 tsp salt
-3 cloves of garlic
Dry Rub:
-1/2 tsp black pepper
-1/2 tsp garlic powder
-1/2 tsp paprika
-1/2 tsp salt
-1 tbsp brown sugar
BBQ sauce:
-2 tbsp ketchup
-1 tbsp honey
-1 tbsp from reserved juices/oil from baked ribs
BRAND: PHILIPS XXL
COOKING TIME:(AIR FRYER)
160C FOR 1 HOUR AND 20 MINS (80 MINS) OR UNTIL TENDER (WITH FOIL)
160C FOR 5-10 MINS (WITH OUT FOIL) BRUSH WITH BBQ SAUCE. AIR FRY UNTIL YOU HAVE REACH
THE DESIRED COLOR
NOTES:
-Remove the ribs membrane. Membrane is chewy, tough, and preventing the ribs from absorbing the flavor of the marinade sauce.
-Wrapping the pork ribs will speed up the cooking process. It helps the meat more tender and juicier.
-Marinade sauce will tenderize the meat and added flavors. I suggest to marinate it overnight for more tastier and juicier pork ribs.
-Cooking process may vary depend in the size of the meat.

Oh my GOODNESS, this recipe is the TRUTH! I just made it an hour ago and my wife, who is very sceptical, LOVED the flavor. I made the sauce too, and it has great tangy flavor. Well worth the time when you don't have 6 hours to smoke ribs on the grill.

I just found this channel and bought ribs today. This is the way I’m making them! I even bake rolls in my Airfryer, being a home bread baker. Thanks for sharing great recipes.

I like that I can "fry" something on a whim! An oil fryer takes so much more time to clean and prepare kzfaq.infoUgkxD4Qeo-HRLxMfom_PDinM_SBfes00qJsB a chore which usually kept me from frying all together. Also, the lack of needing oil to fry means that my family and I are eating healthier... while still enjoying the crispiness of fried foods.

Hey there, just tried this method, excellent results, thank you. Will perfect it by making sure the meat is marinated overnight as you suggest and maybe not sprinkle so much chilli powder. Great cooking method for the airfryer and love the homemade BBQ sauce.

I always get a kick out of the little finger sprinkle (instead of mixing in a shaker and getting even distribution). The whole finger thing started fourteen years ago with some french chef and now all the amateurs think that's the way you do it.

Leney I started marinating 3 kilos of ribs. (I am in Central America) overnight in two glass trays. In one smaller tray added about 2 tsp. apple cider vinegar to your recommended marinade, and will try the different's since vinegar tenderizes meat as well and won't leave any taste at all. Will let you know after I cook the one with vinegar first. I have tried different recipes for the air fryer, but without using the instant pot they were never fall of the bone so now I am curious trying yours, and eliminating the instant pot. Keep smiling..............

Hello..thank you fot the nice idea, i will try adding apple cider next time. Yes, i have read that vinegar, tendertize the meat as well.. just continue airfrying the pork with foil until tender. Foil will keep it moist. Hope everything would be great.. have a nice day

It was delicious. Made it the other day and making it again tonight. We just added less sugar as it's a tad sweet. Not fall off the bone, but really tender.

It's not an accomplishment to make fall off the bone ribs. Just cook them forever. If ribs fall off the bone like stew beef, it means they are mushy and overcooked.

No overcooked ribs are dry and tuff
@Nclght
@Nclght 23 күн бұрын
@royalflush8173 Both. Overcooked using fast high temps will dry them out but the connective tissues have yet to breakdown and not mushy. . Overcooked at slow temps for too long will breakdown the connective tissue and they become mushy. Don't take my word for it. Just google mushy ribs. Home cooks look for fall off the bone ribs because they don't know any better. It's what they heard. Pitmasters , bbq experts, bbq judges, etc, consider it overcooked. In home ovens, crock pot, or on a smoker having been wrapped , if cooked too long they will be mushy and fall off the bone when you pick it up. Some people using the 321 method will experience this after unwrapping. Especially if they use it for baby backs. The point is that falling off the bone ribs is a sign that they are overcooked. The term was coined for stew beef. For ribs, however, it means it should fall off where you bite it only, not when it's in the pot or when you pick it up. A properly cooked rib slab will bend when you hold it up in the middle with tongs. If falls off the bone at that point, it is overcooked and mushy.
