Appreciate all the knowledge, differences, and meaning behind the shoe itself. Outside of being a sneaker head, I am a jordan fan and watched MJ play/break records on the big screen. Many people that buys his shoes can't say that. It helps people to know what they are actually wearing.

The only issues with the e coat of this leather and the same on the lost and found, is that it bleeds pretty easily .. the coating they are using doesn’t seem to lock in the dye as well as last releases. Be careful for bleeding when cleaning.

Paid resell for it. 300. 350 after taxes 😭. Dope colorway VERY wearable. This will be one of the shoes people will regret missing on. Not everyday we get this colorway and Espically a Jordan 1 with good quality that’s wearable with literally anything! Worth every penny!

Love to see the new tweaks. I have a pair of VRL Shadow 1s, and there's a noticable difference between their accuracy and the majority of other AJ1s JB has released. It's great to see that JB has finally made an AJ1 that is this accurate to the original 85 AJ1. They might even be closer than the VRLs, which is incredible and kind of surprising, to me. Hoping everyone who really wants a pair can get one for the US release (myself included lol).

Going for these without a doubt , I am OG over anything else ; so an OG AJ1 colorway and an 85 cut no less is always a must cop. Any tweaks to even closer to OG all the better. I personally love the 85 cuts and their quality ; once they are broken in def some of my favorite AJ1s. I wore my Georgetown 85s quite a bit since i got those. My brother got an early pair of these and comparing to my Georgetowns out of the box at least his pair feels a bit softer than my Georgetowns did before their first wear. Def going to try for these B&W 85s , I am pretty selective on which 1s I go for of late but these are one of the few I am going for in 2023.

Love the 85 cuts. Wore my Georgetown's around Shot Show this year to finally break them in and my feet were cooked at the end of the week, but now my 85's feel 10x better than before.

These dropped in the EU today but I passed. I’m going to get the 13 playoffs when they drop on Saturday. Can’t justify spending over €400 for retail in a week if I wanted to get this and the 13 playoffs. These are nice but I have the Gorge greens and the true blues. I guess I’ll just be happy with those and add the playoffs to my collection. This is the best sneaker review channel hands down. Amazing job my man.

got my pair, all Jordan 1’s should have this build quality, I love how stiff the ankle collar and leather is. Ironed out the toe box a little better to my preference but overall a solid pair, and the leather is phenomenal. All og colorways should have this specific layout going forward JB

I tried going for the black and white 1s back in 2014 but I couldn't get them at retail and I didn't want to pay resale. I really hope I can score a pair this time around. I've been waiting for this review because I appreciate the insight you always provide. Ever since your video of the viberemakelab Jordan 1s I've been watching every Jordan 1 release and seeing if Nike modifies the angle of the heel-collar; it's good to see how straight the black/white 85s are.

The jump man pro quick was my first Jordan ever!! The white color way. Man, I loved that shoe. It was actually my first custom cause I used for PE class and the school demanded our sneakers to be pure white! So I colored the black in with some white out. 😂

I was already hyped for these because they're the 85 Cut. They're the J1s I wear the most because I feel that these should be the standard for how J1 Highs should release, quality wise. Not everyone would like it, but I stand by it. But your in-depth coverage about the refined shape on this pair, and how Nike seems to be listening to your/our collective critiques, these became a need to a STRONG NEED!! Lol only slightly exaggerating. But salute to you, Chris. For bringing us this and all your in-depth reviews. Hoping I can score these in a 9.5M on release day.

Just recently saw an interview on "The Herd" where Colin interviewed Sonny Vacarro about the movie AIR and Sonny made special mention about that March 19, 1982 game so I have a feeling that is why it is part of this shoe.

See i can’t say I have the same little things with my Natty grey 85 highs. Maybe I still need to compare my black and white 85 to the batty greys🤷🏻‍♂️ but I feel like the heel is just as straight up and that the little panel on the heel is just as tall something for me to look into tho!
