Mids are so slept on, its great because I can grab pairs relatively easily. This year so far I got the team USA mids (which also have the nylon), the camo/bone mids, and the incredible hulk mids and I love em all. For casual wear I actually prefer the way the mids fit compared to the highs.

I like Jordan 1 Mids but if someone doesnt I understand, just dont make fun of someone bc they got some or like some, just bc you don't.

I own a ton of mids, and I love them. Its ridiculous how much people hate on them. OG highs are difficult to obtain and the resale prices are insane. Mids are much more easily accessible and cost effective. I'd love to have more pairs of highs. But I have no problem with mids or lows. I have love for all AJ1s

I bought a pair of Air Jordan 1 mids chicago 2020. I actually really like the white heel. The only other pair of 1s I had was the retro high OG shadows 2013 which I recently found out after some research. I recently got into sneakers due to this channel and I just want to say I appreciate this community and always look forward to these videos. I apologize for the small tangent there haha

As a person who can never afford the highs (thanks resellers) I’ve always loved mids. I got the orange and green version of these and i wear the absolute crap out of em. Glad theres still people like you out there who won’t shame you for not having the ‘hype’ shit.

These were the first pair of Jordan’s I liked and was actually able to buy at retail. So I’m grateful.

I love the nostalgia of buying and wearing old sneaks I grew up loving but having to enter a raffle for a “chance” at owning a pair is insane and the resale/ aftermarket prices are ridiculous. It’s a shame but the love of money corrupts everything.

I’m 5’ 9” and I’ve always been into the mids, even tho it feels like most “sneakerheads” shit on em. Might be a height thing, but the collabs recently have been fire. I have blue the greats and chateau rouge and they are some of my favorite pairs to rock right now. Super comfortable

I prefer themids, i’m 49 years old and saw Jordan play throughout his career, I played with the first Jordan 1 OGs, but I always hated my ankles being covered for whatever the reason, so when mids were introduced in the early 2000s it was a great compromise for me. That was the reason why the threes became one of the moles loved silhouettes, Ankle flexibility on a fast break!!

A lot of "sneakerheads/hype beasts" just want to resell the hype shoe and have no knowledge or respect for sneakers. As for mids I like the fact they aren't hyped (yet) so normal guys can buy them without stupid resell. Love the honesty of this channel, you're a sneakerhead not a hype beast.

Yup. Air Jordan 1 Mids is one of my go to sneakers all time. Don't like the Hi so much. Lows are nice as well but I'd go for mids.

You guys set the bar so high for sneaker videos on youtube I find it hard to watch other channels covering the same stuff. Keep up the great work!

I'm grew up on lows and mids and I love them visually, but I'm opposite of Chris. I like to wear the highs because I'm on the taller side so the extra eyelet and collar height work for me.

I think the mids are fresh. I have the New Loves from a years back.

I own several and prefer them than the Hi-tops cuz I'm not that tall 😀 I have the mid Union and although I didn't initially like the nylon footliner, it was so comfortable because it ain't some 'taking its time to break-in' leather.

I love the Jordan 1 Mid. It was my first taste of Jordan 1s growing up, and for a short guy, they don't make me look like I don't have shins. The new colorways have been absolutely killer, and the quality has been going up and up. I customized a pair of white heels to look like Chicagos, and honestly I haven't felt the need to get an OG Chicago at this point. I did a video on them on my channel if curious! Angelus even featured it on Instagram!

Got this color way, the red ones, and the green ones. Can't wait for the purple ones to come out.

Best way to tell a mid is by looking between the nike tick tale as the colour just above it should be a smaller before you get to the next panel.

You nailed it on the head with today's "sneaker culture". Majority of the people only like the price of the shoe and not the actual shoe itself. If the union 4s were a normal GR with no name attached to it 100% no one would buy them. But as soon as people see they can sell them for $1000 they want them. Every raffle ends up being a lottery essentially now. Which really sucks for people who genuinely like the shoes and don't want to make any money off it.

My first pair of Jordan 1 Mids I bought were the Mid Chicago White Toe. I wasn’t aware that there was a stigma attached to the mids. I think they’re clean. The mids in this video I was looking into. I remember when The Air Jordan 1 pack came out with a Black and Yellow and White and Red color ways. I believe it was in 2007-08 b/c I was in 8th Grade and the 1st Transformers movie came out. Those were nice but my mom couldn’t afford them so I had my trusty Airforce 1 lows back when they were $50-$60.

Anyway, I love this colorway and the red one. These definitely look like they’re better quality than most newer mids. I got the Chicago black toe and the materials are straight trash. The toe box is absolutely terrible and you can feel it. I do need those pine mids though. The materials look excellent on those considering they’re mids.

I got those when they came out in July and those are my favorite pair of mids. Some people act they’re too booshie for mids. Good leave more for me to buy 🤷🏾‍♂️🤣🤣🤣

Yes, the air Jordan 1 mid is a Gem 💎 and a bang for your buck for sure. I have 9 pairs of them and I like them. The Og high are obviously the hot commodity and are higher in price for the resell market but if you want a 1 to rock that’s nice casual I think these are it.

I friggin love mids. Not only are they the best looking cut and most comfortable, you can actually find dope colorways at a reasonable price. I mean, I just found some shattered backboards for $140 to go with the black cones I got for $50 a month ago. If someone starts talking shit, chances are they probably wernt even born when MJ was winning championships, soI just let that crap go. Cant wait to bust out my blue/grey AJ1 mid wool too. Super comfy, and slept on. A shoe I wish they would make more colorways of because they are great here in the Pacific NW.

I love the Jordan mids. Copped a pair of laser blue, and these royal unions. The problem I have with these mids are the glue stains and some quality control issues.

I like the Jordan 1 Mid and don't mind having a handful in my collection. IMO the Fearless Blue the Greats are the best of the best, in recent memory. I want a second pair, but the resell is too much.

This channel is still among the must watch channels on KZfaq, really consistent output. I’m a fan of mids, but these and the red ‘union’ style versions are poorly executed in my view. The nylon swoosh frays from day one and the nubuck looks cheap in hand. I tried these on and just couldn’t do it, only time I’ve tried a Jordan on and didn’t buy it.

The racer blue mids are coming out maybe you’ll like those I think the toe front is leather so it might be cool lol

As long as it has a good colorway, the Mid-1s are among my favorite Jordans. I’m not a fan of the lows. I’d rather just have runners, and I don’t love the highs, not because I don’t love how they look, because they look boss. But because the highs are tough to get on and off. And I don’t mean difficult or anything, but I’m a big fan of slipping in and out of my shoes. And I can’t do that with the highs. But with the kids I can skip in and out and they look awesome. I just picked up the mud SE grey pine green variants. Best looking shoe. And I got my daughter her first Jordans in the black, gold, and white mid-1s. She’s going to love them.

That 1st statement or question was valid. It’s weird. I’m a new-ish collector as I started in 2018. Before that I had Chucks and Kobe’s. Since I started I’ve always paid resell but it was always for unique & older kicks ppl weren’t in to anymore or their hype was gone like NMDs, Saucony, ASICS, etc. There’s always been resellers around for everything. Comes w/ the territory if money is involved or can be but it became crazy gross & peaked this yr. I saw a massive shift w/ ppl buying everything, stores backdooring, etc. & a decline for the passion of kicks themselves along w/ that community. Now the culture is just unappealing tho I still love kicks. Rona didn’t help either. We thought prices would go back down but only got more ridiculous & gross. 2020 and out of no where Rona happens a like for 1 month everything dropped then bang. Everything’s price skyrocketed.

I love my Joker 1 mids. Those were my first Jordan shoes and I still wear them today even though the sole has started to separate.

Mids are amazing they are so much cheaper than highs and are basically the same only difference is the quality is a little worse but that’s expected when the price is almost 3x less
