I think the problem is there is too much white. It has the same color blocking as the fire red 4s, but the black and red parts are swapped. The only difference is the fire red 4s had black mesh which have it a nice balance

I wish the Pine Green SB x AJ4s did the same also , those are probably my SoTY so far but think they would have popped more with the color / pine green behind the netting as well. Either way just don't like the red cements , comparing them to the Fire Red 4s pretty much every decision / tweak on them comes up short.

Getting the yellow out of the gray midsole on Black Cement 4s was super easy. I was scared too, but following Vic Almighty’s video made it really easy and they turned out perfect. Just use Rit, celaphane wrap and some sunlight.

I got a lot of 4s but the pine green SB are very comfortable more than the regular more paden because they were made for skating so if you want to get a pair of Jordan 4's I'd go for the pine Green SB is definitely you might pay a little bit but it's worth

The heel tab is the issue that I have with all 4’s unless they have the leather tab from the lightnings. Those I could wear perfectly but if it’s the hard plastic it kills my Achilles.

its weird.. some are softer than others. the 2012 cavs or knicks color way is much more flexible plastic than most of them.

The Air Jordan IV is my holy grail (specifically the white cement color) I strongly prefer the Nike Air logo in the back though. Jumpman logo ruins it for me 😅

Im good on these , I have the Fire Red 4s so not much use for these. Not bad but don't like that much red cement print like these have and the black lace crowns stand out much less than the red ones on the Fire Red 4s. Also no sort of color behind the netting makes them look a bit basic as well (especially compared to the Fire Red 4s). If you don't have the Fire Red 4s , not a bad alternative but very much an inferior version imo.

The red speckled Cement makes the entire shoe 🔥🔥. Very Clean look and leather just like midnight Navy. I'm glad they didn't make them like Fire red soft leather which creases to easily. Mines came last week.

Don't be afraid to use that Saloncare 40 and remove that oxidation from your shoes - I think you mentioned your BC4's. I tried it out on my kids shoes and then had fun doing it on my own shoes. *** Be careful how long you leave them in the sun if you don't have an indoor setup.

@@Mack_Worlds_Mediadepends on where you live and how yellow they are. If u live in a place where it's currently in the mid-high 80s or higher maybe 1-2 hrs MAX. Then bring them in and let them chill for about an hr before putting them back out. Depending on the oxidation it may take a while (like 4-24 hrs). The danger with leaving them in the sun for too long is that the Saloncare 40/sauce/sole revive/etc. lol when applied to a area that was glued to the shoe can make that glue bond weaken when exposed to intense heat for long periods of time. Some people try combating this with bags of ice inside the shoe (which carry the risk of water damage) or cold paks. Reshoeven8r has tons of vids on their channel showing how they approach deoxidizing 4s. I left Weartesters/Chris a post (much longer than this lol) that gives more info on the process of you wanted to know more. I just did my Fear 4s last summer and the grey held up until about March. I also can't stress enough DON'T GET ANY ON THE UPPERS (if u do clean it off IMMEDIATELY) and wear gloves when u use the stuff if u've never worked with BEFORE. Goodluck homie

@@Mack_Worlds_Media Depends on where you live and how intense that sun is. Start by an hour on and an hour off just to make sure they don't get too hot. Also, if you have black outsoles, that will obviously draw more heat so watch for that. I'm no certified expert so take this all with a grain of salt, watch some videos on how to 'diy ice your own soles'

Honestly, the 4's are one of my least favorite Jordans along with the 2's. I don't necessarily hate them, I just think there's too many features/designs on the shoe. That heel tab is another reason lol. Not a bad colorway though.

I'm a wide-footer and stayed true to size. Initially, the were hella uncomfortable near the pinky toe area. I laced them loosely and wore them around the house a bit. The heel area wasn't very secure, and the back of the shoe would slip vertically, which was kind of annoying. After a little while I was able to lace them up a bit tighter and the pinky toe and loose heel issue went away. Maybe they just needed to be broken in a little bit? Dunno. I do like the Red Cement colorway, so I picked up a pair for myself when I copped a pair for my son. I figured I could always resell or return them if I wasn't feeling them. I don't typically wear AJ4s because I always thought they looked a bit toyish and they aren't the most comfortable Jordans out there, preferring other classic silhouettes like the Air Ships, 1, 2, 3, 5, 6 and 13s. I just wanted something different in the sneaker closet and since these have broken in rather nicely, I think I'll keep them. They give me a late 80s/early 90s hip hop vibe, so I can't complain about that. Stay, dope, Chris. One.

Even for me as a standard/narrow foot at 9.5, I had to go down either 9, which I still ended up getting heel-slippage so I had to go full size down for AJ4s at 8.5, but I need that wiggle room.

Thanks. Same issue with it slipping around the heel. It's only the right shoe which is tight around the pinky. It's annoying because they are nice but expensive.

Don’t be scared to remove the yellowing from the black cements. I do it with a UV light and they look brand new after treatment. It does come back after a few wears but I just keep doing it and they always look fresh.

I love these. I didn’t think I would, but 4s are my favorite. I copped on the shock drop and plan to double up on the release. It’s an exact reverse of the Fire Red 4s. I had to have these since I don’t have the Fire Reds.

Definitley a shoe best in person. Wasn’t even planning on keeping these when I won them on the drop. The splatter adds a lot, I think without that I’d probably trade them for another pair in the collection. But for now they’re sticking with me.

These actually looked better in person than pictures online. If you have the Fred Flintstone's yabba Dabba doo wide body foot definitely go up half a size. The will get those pinky toes ! Regular foot might be able to finesse the shoe some by loosening the laces some (try on if you can before buying to see) narrow footers can go true to size for that one to one fit.

The first images of these online were horrible. After seeing multiple reviews on them, I love ‘em. The Fire Red’s are definitely better, but since I don’t have those, I’m really hoping to get these. And yeah, why can’t they make all 4’s feel like the SB Pine Green’s? When I wear mine, I almost forget I’m wearing 4’s, they are so comfortable!

These are like reverse Fire Red 4s. The red and black hits are flipped, everything else is the same. I think thats why this colorway looks so weird to me

I think these are fine, I really like the navy's so I was glad to have got a W in the shock drop. I have the "red cement" 3s so this was a no brainer to cop for retail.

In about a 30 day span Jordans got us in a tight spot. Burgundy 5s, Palomino 1s, red cement 4s and the playoff 8s... 4 shoes $900+ in a 30 span is tough especially seeing that the blue 5s are releasing next to the red 12s right after

Front eyelet to the toe box is quite stiff and has a very snug fit. It definitely has the most interesting design/look of the classic Jordan w/ the exposed air cushions.

yeah i definitely agree that back tab needs to be black. The problem is that the wing and the midsole and the back tab are all red at the back half of the shoe with no black to break it up. the front of the shoe has more black hits that break that red up a little bit and its just too much and doesnt look right on the back half. these are pass for me. im rockin the og fire reds.
