Was fortunate enough to cop both these military blue 4's and the reimagined black cement/breds 4's on the shock drops. I'm a og at 54 and these are the first pair of military blue 4's that I've had. Both 4's are 🔥.

Yessir. Shock drop W. My third time owing the military blue 4’s. The 06 pair were 👍🏼. Until the midsole paint started chipping after only a few wears. Instant 🙍🏻‍♂️💔.

After wearing them for a week; the leather isn’t bad at all. Minimal creasing that is not really noticeable. I think Jordan did a great job bringing them back as close to 89 as they could. The shape and leather are both certainly way better than the fire red 4s from 2020.

Weird, I felt like these were more comfortable than the reimagined 4s. Great video!

The creases on the toebox needs a little heat like a hair drier. I took it out of my 2 pairs. It’s from the tongues from how they sit in box

I've seen OG pairs in person and the blue was definitely not the '06 or '12 bright, clean blue, but it was over 30 years ago that I cannot say how close this '24 blue is tbh 😄 To me, the Nike branding is more important than the shade of blue and had to cop this pair.

I got a pair on the shock drop and they fit me exactly the same.

Hit on the shock drop and EA on Snkrs. Got my double up so I’m good now.

Hi. I own the Military Black and these. I noticed that the color of the lining of these 2 pairs was bleeding onto my socks!!! So watch out for the upcoming Air Jordan 4 Oxidized Green which will certainly do the same thing.

It makes no sense how different the material between the Military blue 4 and reimagined. They released 2 months apart. So disappointing.

Honestly as I get older I care less about materials and more about quality construction, I have true blue 3’s that released in 2016 and while they’re far from soft they hold their shape well even as beaters. Shoes are meant to be worn at the end of the day good vid Sean!

Kind of glad they used stiffer leather, mainly because you can get more wears out of them before they looked to cooked. Leather is somewhat similar to the 2016 white cements. Just take the reimagined Breds, after a few wears, creasing is a bit too noticeable

I wish I went true size on the Breds. They feel so big 1/2 size up. So I got these true to size. 🤞🏻

Went TTS on exclusive access. They fit but we're indeed more snug than the Reimagined 4. Went a half size up on release day and that works better. A little more toe box room than I'd prefer but I plan to put better insoles in so that should fix that. Great review as always.

Had a chance to double dip but passed. Can’t believe I got EA after coping the shock drop. Nike showing me love finally.

Taking the quality, the (missing) comfort of the AJ4s & especially the news of a blue AJ4 SB coming next, these are sure pass. But I agree, they’ll sell out pretty quickly because in the end, it’s THAT shoe and CW is dope no matter what! So hopefully everyone gets one!

I got EA for these. Replacing the 2012 pair I had and didn't wear much. Sold those off a while back. If the leather quality is as bad as you say these may be going right back to Nike.

I was lucky enough to get a W with the Reimagined Bred 4s, but this pair which I wouldn't mind add it to my collection due to being OG and have never own one as last released back in 2012. Here's hoping for a W of either retail, but if you say the material isn't on-par VS the Nike SB 4s and Reimagined Bred 4s, then no lose if I struck out.

You got a great shape on your pair. Do they have a fluffy/padded tongue like the SB4s or is it thinner?

Great review. I got mine from the shock drop.The upper is a weird shade of white instead a clean white like the SBs, its like a gray or soft blue tint to it like you said the materials feel sub par. Im disappointed.

I got this pair yesterday during the launch, i totally agree the materials are not good , and the shoes have poor QC from Nike such as the holes on the flap are not properly punched (some of it no holes or unfinished cut), and the air unit can see the scratch. You might think it is fake pair, even though you got it from them...

My critieria for Jordan 4: if the leather used is closer to Fire red 4 (2020) then Reimagined 4 BRED, then it is a easy pass. I was so excited for the vivid sulfur 4, but decided to pass as the material is trash. These will be easy pass too.

All you'd have to do is Google AJ4 Millitary Blue 1989. Then You'll easily see that the blue is more like OG. This is the closest to the OG that they'll ever be.

I haven’t had these on hand but from every video and photo I have seen, they look very cheap. Even the Ivory craft has better materials

My conspiracy theory is that the nickname was changed to "industrial" blue to avoid potential (and accidental) connection with the ongoing conflicts in Gaza/Israel and Ukraine. I'm sure Jordan Brand wants to steer clear of that. In terms of the shoes, I'm super excited for the drop tomorrow, especially if there really are as many pairs releasing as there've been rumored to be. This feels like one of those shoes you just HAVE to have.

The Reimagined Bred 4’s are infinitely better. The Reimagined Breds make this shoe look and feel cheap.

I've bought them and then decided to return it to Nike. Why? They are very uncomfortable and ...heavy!!! I have Jordan 4 "Pure Money" which are my favs shoes because they are soooo comfortable. Sorry Jordan brand, for 200$ it's not cool especially with OG Retro that many people have been waiting for! Peace!

Yeah I was disappointed with the leather. Straight up 🗑️ Glad I hit for retail cause there's no way I would pay over retail.

The thing that is going to suck about these, and every Jordan 4 that have already dropped, is that the damn netting quality or material JB keeps on using after 1999. The 99’ Air Jordan 4 netting that was used was a higher quality and design type of netting that never turned yellow. Perhaps it got discolored a little due to aging. However, it never presented to be a disgusting yellow color like on what the newer retros have shown. Same thing is being shown on the retro 5s as well. It makes the shoe look hideous and cheap after a few to several wears. For that price point that they are asking, all material's must be replicated amd manufactured as it once was made in the past.
