Air Rifle hunting Camp Adventure

We head into the mountains for two days of adventure with the rugged Daystate Safari in .30 caliber. We hunt Ground Squirrels, Jackrabbits and Coyotes on this trip. Join Marley and I along with several friends to enjoy this beautiful two days of hunting. #daystate #airgunsofarizona

Thanks Daniel, we try to stay local and are blessed to have so many beautiful areas to film. Stay tuned for next month, we have a few Cottontail hunt overnighters planned.

Man that looks like an amazing place to hunt. Can't wait until fall so my son & I can get out and do some hunting. Going to shoot video's while doing it but they won't look nearly as good as what you got goin on! Love that Marley! What an awesome dog. When you told her she did a good job it looked like she smiled!

Yes it's a beautiful place to film and hunt, is a bit hot this time of year though. Yes, Marley is a true character and loves our adventures together. Looking forward to seeing some of the videos of you guys in the Fall. That's awesome to have time with your son. Cheers, Dana

I'm damn near 60 and never went on camp/hunts ever ,,with airguns. I'm going to though, for sure. I'm going with my FX Dreamp Pup though .25 and .30 calibers,going to bring a barrel kit

Yes, she's trained for snakes and we both are very careful.

Well now since you brought it up... I have a cheap gamo swarm whisper .22 in the growing collection,and really,i like it for plinking and im sure it will be a good squirrel hunter,i replaced the stock scope with a barska 3x9 had it sited perfect pellet on pellet at 25yrds which i think is a good middle for it.. I just had it sitting in a corner of my cabinet,took it out just the other day,now its going 3" right,could having it leaned up like that change my zero? It's new,only a couple months old,but i also have a sling tied to the barrel where it gets thinner so it doesn't slide off and down on the stock where it gets thinner as well... Should i be using a different method and take the sling off and just carry it? Edit... Love the Marley cam 😁

I know some break barrels have issues with things getting loose. May check to make sure everything is snug. I know from experience that sometimes extreme fluctuations in temperatures can cause some changes in accuracy. Thanks, glad you enjoyed the Marley cam, more to come!

Good stuff there my friend. Love seeing some Marley cam too. I'd like to learn more about the electronic triggers. Next time out, do you think you can explain and demonstrate more about them ? Adjustability of the performance parameters / tune ability / etc. Cheers !

If you don't mind me asking I know it's hard to carry around but have you ever tried a spotting scope for the rabbits I'm just curious to know if that would help I've never tried it either

Hi Daniel, I do carry a monocular but have to usually travel light. I have to carry lots of camera gear that's usually not ever shown in videos. Some binoculars work well, it really depends on the terrain in some cases.

@@MountainSportAirguns you're right that's a lot to carry around plus rabbits are very hard to see they blend right in
