The verse singer is Graham Russell and the chorus singer is Russell Hitchcock. You can't go wrong with anything they do. Russell Hitchcocks voice is amazing. I would recommend their song, "Making Love Out Of Nothing At All", which was written by Jim Steinman who wrote all of Meatloafs biggest hits.

They are a fantastic band. Their other hits include: Making Love Out of Nothing at all, Lost in Love, Even the Nights are Better, The One that You Love, Power of Love, Two Less Lonely People, Every Woman in the World, Without You, Now and Forever, and Sweet Dreams. Little River Band is another aussie band you should check out. "Lady", "Cool Change", "Take It Easy On Me" are a few of their big hits from back in the late 70s/early 80s.

In this song, Russell Hitchcock held the final note for 16.2 seconds, which was the longest ever note held for a male pop singer. Russell held that title until 1983, when Freddy Curci of Sheriff held the final note of "When I'm with You" for 19.4 seconds (another excellent song, btw). Air Supply was the soundtrack of every 80's school dance, and most weddings, too. Like Amber, I'm a sucker for a power ballad.

Oh man did they have a huge string of hits. Their greatest hits is full of buttery pop tracks. They were so huge that they actually became uncool like disco had. But eventually came full circle again and now they get some respect.

The tall blonde is Graham Russell, he is English. The short with dark curly hair is Russell Hitchcock, and he is Australian, and he is the one with the big pipes. He can carry a tune forever. Perhaps that's why they named the band Air Supply. 🤔 My favorite songs from this group are "Now and Forever " and "Just As I Am". Hopefully, you can do a reaction to those two songs. By the way, you guys are awesome!

Their song Making Love ( Out of Nothing At All ) was written by Jim Steinman - the same man that wrote Total Eclipse of the Heart by Bonnie Tyler and the Bat of Hell albums by Meat Loaf.

What's weird about that for me was ,I was 18 and had a girlfriend at the time "Making Love" and "Total Eclipse" came out (1983),we both loved them,and I remember thinking at the time they were great songs but that they both were VERY similar.Hats off to Jim Steinman for his great songs,and Meat Loaf,Air Supply and Bonnie Tyler for recording them!

This kind of soft-rock OWNED the early 80s (but you knew that), and Air Supply was at the head of the line. ""Lost in Love", "Every Woman in the World", "The One That You Love", "Here I Am", "Sweet Dreams", "Even the Nights are Better", "Two Less Lonely People in the World", and "Making Love Out of Nothing at All" were all smash hits. The band was comprised of English-born singer-guitarist Graham Russell and Australian lead vocalist Russell HItchcock. They are still performing to this day.

I can almost guarantee that every teen from late 70's to early 80's has either cried while listening to an Air Supply, or had a make out session listening to an Air Supply song; but probably can relate to doing both!! This just makes me think of homecoming dances and prom 🤭🥰!

Belive me, this last note is real. I went twice to see them in concert and the music ended and he was still on that note. He also has an incredible high range. They are still performing, at this time they are on tour. They play soft rock and have so many great songs like this one. These are some of the best: Lost in love which it was recorded in only one take, because it was so perfect that there were no need to do it again, Making love out of nothing at all, Every woman in the World, Even the nights are better, Young love, The power of love, The one that you love, Lonely is the night, After all, Just as I am, Sweet dream. They were a sensation in the 80's and still have fans all around the World who follow them to revive those old memories.

Love Air Supply Lots! I can't get enough of them, they're one of my most favourite bands. Air Supply is an British-Australian soft rock duo, consisting of English-born singer-songwriter and guitarist Graham Russell and Australian lead vocalist Russell Hitchcock formed in Melbourne Australia in 1975. You got to listen to these other hits of theirs... lost in love - every woman in the world - the one that you love - here I am - even the nights are better - making love out of nothing at all (written by Jim Steinman who wrote all the biggest hits for Meat Loaf. Sadly he also passed away in 2021, just 9 months before Meat Loaf's passing) - two less lonely people in the world - The Power of Love (you are my lady) - just as I am - sweet dreams.

Man, I LOVE Air Supply!!! They took the power ballad & ran with it. 😌 I've always wondered why they cut out a few measures in the beginning of the video. It doesn't save much time, and cuts out some great strings. Ah well. This is my favorite song of theirs. This is DEFINITELY a rabbit hole you want to go down. "Making Love Out Of Nothing At All," "Every Woman In The World," "Here I Am (Just When I Thought I Was Over You)," "Sweet Dreams" and "Even The Nights Are Better" are essential!!! I just saw these guys in concert a couple years ago. Friends of ours won tickets & they invited us. I really didn’t want to go. They aren’t really my bag, but we figured it was a night out. I must admit, we had fun. I thought they were like a 2 hit wonder, but shockingly they had tons of hits. Hahaha!! Too funny 😂

They are always on the softer side and they had a bunch of hit songs, I'd recommend "Lost In Love" or "Sweet Dreams".

My mom was in her forties. She and her friends were absolutely obsessed! I was in my 20s. I remember my mom and her friends going to a concert at MSG in NY and coming home with a signed picture of the band! She looked like a teenager for that one night.

I just saw Air Supply in concert about a month ago. Russell Hitchcock's voice seems like it hasn't changed a bit. They still sound amazing.

"The One That You Love" was my favorite by this group. My grandmother had just died, and somehow it brings memories of her, even though the words have no real relevance there.

Nice reaction! These guys can sing! "Making Love Out of Nothing at All" is a great song, written by Jim Steinman who wrote for Meatloaf- a must listen.

In this song you don't get the full effect of Russell's voice because he only does the chorus but if you listen to The one that you love you will be an eternal fan as I am. They have explained how this song is basically a live version because he recorded it in only one take. That one take was perfect and so is he. They are not given the praises that they deserve for sure. They definitely have tons of great songs, please do more of them.

The one song that has not been mentioned is The One That You Love....It includes the highest note ever recorded in a rock song by a male voice naturally. EDIT: I was incorrect on the song....It is actually is Where Did The Feeling Go. Either song is incredible.

I can remember when they hit the radio. This band recorded some of the best love songs of all time. Almost every hit was some type of love ❤️. I've always liked them

This group was EVERYTHING in the early 80's! Oh my gosh, I saw them in concert, they were fantastic...I mean FANTASTIC!! I absolutely LOVE Air Supply!! So under-rated! Please do more from them One of my favorites are "Sweet Dreams", "Even The Nights are Better" and "Lost in Love" But there are so many more! Thanks for giving them a listen!
