I remember laying in bed as a kid, I had an old 8 track player and an old pair of corded headphones! I can’t tell you how many nights I spent in the middle of the night listening to this album over and over again always dreaming of being lost in love! A very sad, depressing and tearjerking song. It gets the waterworks flowing for me. I was coming home from school back then, putting this song on and crying my eyes out at how horrible my school life was.

I experienced something similar. It began in sixth grade---mostly verbal bullying with a rare bit of physical assault---and then peaked in tenth grade where it was all verbal by then. During eleventh and twelfth grade it vanished (because most of the bullies, who were upperclassmen and women, had graduated. But I cannot forget those horrific years. I was bullied because I was thought to be different.

Omg, I had pretty much the same experience, AND my very first love had just shredded my heart after we were absolutely madly in love for over a year. My three best friends were all involved and my bestest friend actually started going out with him immediately after. I thought I would surely die from the pain. I was bumping into walls for pretty much five years after that, but I recovered, and actually fell in love several more times later with much better results. I'm old now, and this song still kills me, Lol

Love Air Supply...One of the most underrated bands of the 70s. Anyone besides me think the lines "You know you can't fool me, I've been loving you long" sound a lot like George Harrison? The next lines, not at all like George.

Isn't that the story of life, though? There's always someone chasing the other. In my 20's I figured out that when you stop chasing and start pulling away, you actually become the one who is chased. The other person realizes that they might lose you and they start to chase you. But beware because sometimes when you stop chasing to let them chase you, you realize that you don't really want them as much as you thought. And also if they don't chase you, they were never, ever in love with you.

For 40 years same thing but when I thought about dating someone he would get in the way he still trying to control me so 2 months ago l moved got my own apartment which he thought l would let him stay not likely I'm actually enjoying seeing what it's like being on my own when I feel like I want to l will finally start dating but on my terms my time and no trying to take control of the life I'm finally in control!!!
