I love the singing, it's flawless, but the lyrics, however they fit the story and music, don't fit together well in my opinion. The interpretation is lovely and I will listen to it again and again but I will come up with different lyrics to propose you a different version, I am sure that if you accept it, it will surpass this one.

I found your cover by accident when I want to learn more about Chinese characters of the original song. I'm still watching Ashes of Love on my 1/3rd way on Netflix, but I never skipped the ending as I love the song (although it's quite impossible for me to sing along esp. on the high notes 😂). Not disappointed! Your cover closely resembles the original, even the number of notes/syllables for each lines are similar! I know Chinese is hard to translate in a few words (I don't know Chinese myself but I learn the meaning of Chinese lyrics elsewhere), yet you nailed it! And those high notes are... perfect, giving me the same goosebumps as Sa Dingding's. Thank you for bringing this cover!

Thank you for such a thoughtful comment! Yes, Chinese is definitely one of the harder language for me to translate because so much can be said in so little syllables.
