This is a great air-to-air look at basic acrobatic flight maneuvers in a classic PT-19. Loop, rolls, Immelman, and more maneuvers are explained and shown. Dual-time instruction would have preceded performing these maneuvers solo. In the beginning of the film, reference is made to captured German film purporting to show combat between a RAF Spitfire and a Bf-109. Historian Peter M. Bowers pointed out the location of the British roundels on the Spitfire in the film is farther inboard than the RAF would do, and suggests this is a captured Spitfire repainted by the Germans into German markings before being repainted with roundels.
