A recent tornado outbreak in Oklahoma was incredibly destructive and tragically resulted in at least four fatalities The state was hit the hardest, experiencing over two dozen tornadoes, including one that devastated the small town of Sulphur and left its downtown unrecognizable. The damage in Sulphur is consistent with an EF-3 tornado, with winds estimated around 165 miles per hour. According to Gov. Kevin Stitt, every single business in Sulphur appears to be destroyed. I watch Cross Timbers Bison & Arms Family Homestead on KZfaq & feel so badly for them. Thei Mom lost her business in downtown Sulphur. I hope the governor has asked for emergency help.

The situation in Sulphur OK reminds me of the 2007 Greensburg KS tornado where it literally wiped out the entire town.

As a European what I cannot understand the reason why so many houses in Tornado Alley are made of wood in stead of stone.

With winds that strong as you can see clearly doesn’t matter what they are made of most of those downtown buildings were brick.

Europe also gets strong violent tornadoes as well.. a tornado doesn’t care about what your house is made of.. if it’s a powerful tornado, it will rip up anything in its path.. that’s why more people in the Midwest should have storm shelters.. above ground or below.. and make sure it’s an approved by the NSSAA pre fab model.. it’s better to play it safe then not especially if you live in a tornado prone area like the Midwest and south eastern United States

Those poor people 😞😭. My condolences to those who lost loved ones 🙏. Thankfully that couple is ok. Any injured may they recover quickly and totally. These poor people need help. Praying for those in Kentucky and Ohio too 🙏.
