Royal Air Force Airbus A400M Atlas cargo aircraft pre-flight, taxiing and take off. The Airbus A400M Atlas is a European four-engine turboprop military transport aircraft, tactical airlifter with strategic capabilities to replace older transport aircraft, such as the Transall C-160 and the Lockheed C-130 Hercules. The A400M is between the Lockheed C-130 Hercules and the Boeing C-17 Globemaster in size, it can carry heavier loads than the C-130 Hercules and is able to use rough landing strips.

i used to work at company MTU south of Berlin where the new production TP400 engines were tested and then delivered to the airbus facility at Seville. The first few engines where assembled at MTU Berlin but the company moved the final assembly to their facility in Munich later on. The engines final tests still take place at MTU Berlin.

GRAZIE. Questo bel filmato è una versione ridotta di un altro filmato di circa venti minuti, molto ma molto più emozionante. Con grande dispiacere, non riesco più a trovarlo. Era pubblicato da un altro sito. C'era anche una breve intervista al comandante dell'aereo inglese. Si vedeva anche il piano di carico dell'aereo. Le fasi di preparazione al volo e il decollo erano molto più emozionanti di quelle di questo video. PECCATO

This is a very impressive aircraft. I wonder if they can put enough pressure on the manifold to do a four engine start. Imagine what this thing could do as gunship or once they refine its AAR capabilities as a refueling aircraft.

That airplane must be very dependable and great at what it does and the U.K. air force is smart to have them to transport their troops and cargo which fits into it's bay. I still think the C-130's a great aircraft, but I didn't like working on them like I did the C-141 Starlifters and was stationed at a starlifter base and working on and flying on them while on duty there.

The color of airplane looks light blue in the sun but if the sun not than looks dark grey. That is the effect of matt spray or coating

Классный самолёт. Жаль что тема украдена у Антоновцев. Изначально для российской армии его планировали , потом забили , потом европейцы наобещали сказок и тупо спёрли проект. Потом на аеробусе допилили проект и он теперь оч успешно продается как а 400

I have this doubt. During the initial stage, when aircraft starts to move from rest, the propulsion is from propeller or is it through some other means. I mean can Props impart such slow speeds also?

Its the UK's Royal Air Force, established in 1918 at the end of WW1. Since we still have our monarchy, we still use Royal in its title and very proud of it most of us are.

The RAF and USAF have a very long history of exchanges. There has even been an RAF officer on the Air Force One pilots roster.

Saiid we only had to keep one model of plane on earth, for me it would be the A400M. As comfortable with freight as with passengers and soon convertible into a Canadair, it can land on ice as well as take off from a sandy beach. Certainly there is nothing commercial about it, but it is one of the only ones that has such versatility. In addition to knowing how to do acrobatics, I find him beautiful to watch on the ground or in the air...

Complete pile of crap. Doesn't work and never will. The A400 has failed in every aspect and that's why the majority of countries who paid into the project are scrapping them.

That's quite a proclamation. Every new aircraft type has teething problems. For example the C5 Galaxy developed fatal cracks in their wings. The F111 had massive problems with its variable geometry wings. Even C130 was not without its problems. These are large, complex machines. All large, complex machines develop unforseen problems. The problems to which you allude are engineering issues with engineering solutions. Germany declined 2 aircraft in 2019 because of issues with their engines. Airbus then engineered an effective solution and the Luftwaffe is now accepting deliveries again. To date, 176 have been ordered, 101 delivered and 1 crashed. 100 are active. None have been scrapped.

@@ScienceChap the project is a failure. Barely any of the aircraft delivered are actually serviceable with many being stripped for spare parts. Do you work with them? I assume not otherwise you would know what's happening on the actual line.
