Airbus Helicopters brought a prototype of its new composite airframe medium-twin H160 helicopter to this year’s Heli-Expo in Las Vegas, and experimental test pilot Olivier Gennse invited us into the cockpit to explain what makes this new aircraft special from the pilot’s perspective.

What was your previous favorite copter? I believe the H160 is a great machine, but it looks weird from the side... Like a big triangle

If the narrator is a computer generated voice, then it is THE best computer voice I have ever heard. And if it's a human narrating, then this is the most computer sounding human I have ever heard. Either way, well done AIN.

Aviation International News I meant to say your voice is so smooth and your narration so clear that it's actually very difficult to tell whether it's an electronic voice or human. Add that to the fact that in your videos you also never laugh, cough, clear your throat, crack jokes, exclaim, or even stammer or stumble. Everything is narrated so eloquently that it's so unbelievably smooth and relaxing. If my voice mattered on KZfaq, I would vote yours as the best aviation informational channel on KZfaq. Very well done.

And like the other models of airbus helicopters, for one hour of flight, 30 hours of maintenance.... Compared to other manufacturers, airbus is on the very expensive side when looking at the overall cost of owning... It is a little like printers manufacturers , they sell you the equipment at a low price, but you pay 100 times the price in maintenance and parts

Too late to market. The AW139 has now a good customer database and is proving to be a very good aircraft. Also the S76D is showing reasonable sales to existing S76 customers (older models).

the classic Airbus statements. sadly for Airbus automatic or computer system doesn´t make vehicle more safe, it just causes different problem. Airbus should know this there have been so many accidents because of automatic system especially on airbus/Boeing planes and not to forget MD90 in the eighties.
