Footage of the new Airdrie to Bathgate Line, taken from Spitfite Railtours' Poppy Mini-Tour, the first public passenger train to traverse the line.
In this case we are heading west (from Bathgate towards Airdrie), and Part 2 (this video) follows on from Part 1 (no kidding, huh?), from approximately the West Lothian / North Lanarkshire border through to Airdrie.
I'm sorry the sound isn't great. It was rather windy, especially when moving at speed. If it really annoys you, you can always turn it down or even off. Maybe you could play some music over it. I thought of doing that for you, but not everyone would like my music, and WMG would probably haul it off anyway. :)
