Just made it and painted etc , took my time 4 days with lots of cups of tea etc , not a bad fit , finished of blue part of hull with clear varnish. Comes up a treat , ps the real lifeboats inshore are just across the road 😊😊👍👍

Hi James.. I finally got round to subscribing to your channel! I've just watched a video from Nigel and he had a link to you :) He also said, and I agree, that the Shannon kit isn't really a /starter/ set, I think because the railings are fiddly and fragile. On that note there's no external frame to stop them getting bent or broken.

Must be huge boat in real life. Taken aback by the large size of the kit at 1/72. Looks to be decent quality for the price point too

It's roughly 13 metres (42 feet) long in real life, sure is.

Y do modlers make it look hard to do when it's easy as pie simple but the way you go no if it's hard it's not
