And white cotton for the rigging...my shaky 84 yr hands had a little problem with the decals ...makes up for it ...looks good..

I purposely avoided this one... Something about older ships puts me off building these but for £5 you can't really moan at it. After watching this video, I wish I bought it! Great video once again and any beginners reading this, go check out the top 10 tips he mentioned, very helpful.

Got this last year and built it and it looks really good. Even at full price it is good value. Enjoyed building it that much got another couple this year too. Hadn't thought about the details on the sails so will try that in the next one. I added some simple rigging using some fine cotton and CA glue to hold it in place.

How about building a boltoun Paul defiant mk1 (1/72), all black looks good. Also, its a good model.

I'd love to, Ill add it to the list. Just a dozen or so ahead of it at the moment though! I did the Special Hobby Blackburn Roc a couple of years ago - might re-do it in 1/48th...
