I believe the myth is that vampires cannot personally cross moving water (oceans, rivers, creeks, ect. anything with a current) I think lakes are okay.

ShadowWolf1982 Never heard of that. Also makes no sense. The problem is that Alucard is in the middle of the Atlantic. Swimming that distance is impossible. Thats why hes stuck.

Belisarius The Historian Unable To Cross Running Water Both the Greeks and the Chinese state in their myths that vampires can not cross running water such as a stream or salt water such as an ocean. The vampires could be carried across in a boat or over a bridge and could also cross it at high or low tide. The Greeks would bury a suspected vampire on an off shore island to prevent them from attacking people.

I always heard it was that they can't cross a body of water without a coffin containing the soil of their homeland, which is why later they show Alucard's coffin inside the crashed blackbird.

15:00 And for extra points, someone actually created a _pony version_ of this scene... 33:00 It's weird that you were forced to make edits before this was allowed to remain up, given that the bits with _Shoot To Thrill_ (which TFS have been forced to edit out of their version) and _Shipping Up To Boston_ have remained intact

Ahh Schrodinger, he's a bit of an oddball but I like him for the funny bits he has in the series. Based on a hentai catgirl that Kota Hirano made back in the day of his adult comics..a LOT of his characters are based on his older works which were mostly hentai, including Pip, Anderson was from one of the non hentai ones..but anyway his whole thing is he's supposed to be a living(?) Schrodinger's Cat. It's a quantum physics thought experiment that is very long and drawn out but boils down to a cat, in a box with a vial of poison that might or might not break, put a lid on the box. When you look in the box later the cat is both alive AND dead at the same time, that's why in the manga Schrodinger says he is "everywhere and nowhere". As long as he believes he exist somewhere..he's there, basically a very real "I think therefore I am" power.

not entirely right. You are not allowed to look into the box. That would destroy the quantummode in which the radioactive Molecule inside the box (you need that to activate the machine that breaks the poison vial) is at that moment. In the quantom state the radioactive molecule is at the same time, broken and intact so the vial of poison is broken and intact, so the cat is either dead or alive. You can not interfere with the molecule, that would cause the molecule to decide on its state, thererfore determining the outcome.
