🥲 My first pair of Jordan’s were the 12. They will always hold a special place in my heart. My mom worked hard to finally buy me a good pair of basketball shoes for me to wear during the Jr. Lakers games at the YMCA. No more being bullied for wearing Payless Prowings. I didn’t realize at the time how hard it was for mom to save up that money but she did it. As an adult I see it now.

It's arguable to even say, that jordan played damn near his best basketball in the 12s. He had so many great years, dominant years in all of his other sneaks. But he was just so efficient in the 12s. And would get mad aggressive too. I don't know how to really explain it. But he just seemed very confident and comfortable in the 12s, and it reflected in his game play. Meanwhile I played like shit in 12s lol. Played alot better in 3s, 11s, and 13s lol.

He put on a shooting clinic in ‘96 & ‘97. He was lights out anywhere on the floor. And he was at his heaviest here strong as an ox he was up over 220 that season. Around 225. That next ‘98 last dance season he lost about 10 lbs (down to the 216 we all know that’s always listed) and gained a slight bit of that athletic ability back and put up a much more well rounded offensive season than his shooting clinic he put on this year.

I really like these videos more than the straight highlights, it really shows MJ's game better. You can see how fundamentally sound, highly skilled, amazing footwork, high IQ and how beautiful and artistic his game was. NOBODY has been this amazing! I agree that they do not bring up how skilled Jordan was, I think its because no one is as skilled and then you cant compare, someone else, to Jordan much less argue they are better.

Pippen and Longley played awfully well in the 12s. In a unique way, the shoe was somewhat structured for both of their styles of balling.

I Got My OG Taxi XII’s My Very First Pick Up In Beginning Of 2️⃣0️⃣2️⃣0️⃣ And Paid The Same Exact Price Just Tax...Back In Them Days When They First Came Out I Couldn’t Get One Because My Adoptive Parents Focused On The Bills Rent And Food On The Table So I Stuck On Wearing Payless.....Today It’s Still In Great Condition No “JUMPMAN” Tabs Are Cracking And Came In OG Box..Not To Mention It Reminded Me Of The Episode Of Martin When He Gave His Taxi XII To The A Boy Because The Boy Shoes Already Been Through All The Way
