If you only have time to see one attraction while in the wonderful Whitsundays, then you must get to the incredible Whitehaven Beach, on Whitsunday Island. Known for its seven kilometres of pure white, silica sand, this beach does not disappoint and is often voted one of the best beaches in Australia and the world! You can sail, cruise or fly to Whitehaven Beach and you can also visit Hill Inlet Lookout while you’re there to see the swirling fusion of sand and water as the tide ebbs and flows.
Whether it's the Great Barrier Reef, Hamilton Island, or Whitehaven Beach are all quick trips from Airlie Beach via Ocean Rafting: Be sure to ask for Toby and Rose as they were just fantastic.
