Airline Pilot Trip | Day in the Life

Come long on this 4 day trip as an Airline Pilot flying the B767 on Valentine's Day. This trip starts with my favorite, a deadhead to my home airport, JFK, with layovers throughout the week in ONT, DEN, MEM, and IND. See some behind the scenes of what a First Officer job is like at a legacy cargo airline.

I really like this channel because you bring us in to all aspects of your life flying. From the layovers at the hotels, flying, working out, etc. Keep it up!

Dear Pete, I am extremely impressed how you do conduct outside aircraft checkups. I am also totally touched that you did go to church on ash Wednesday. I'm also a Catholic and do the same thing. The way you showed on your movie is just superb. Many people don't understand it, but I do, after more than 4 years in Afghanistan. praying for the outcome.

Excellent vid, Pete. 3 weeks ago, I had a chance to visit the Indy hub, see flight ops, spend the night shift in the ramp tower, and see the entire operation. It was very impressive! Thanks for sharing your journeys. It was interesting to see your graphical display of turbulence while on-board.

Yo Pete, I’ve been watching your videos since day one. Finishing up my commercial and CFI in CA and hoping to fly for the airlines in NY. Had to comment cuz I’m super Catholic and love seeing how open you are that you’re a Jesus fan 🤙🏻🤙🏻 the other boys start praying again when our C150s hit a downdraft lol. Do you get nervous at all when flying? I’m a super nervous flyer makes me go on holiday less each year. My logic is always you can’t guarantee we will make the other airport, I know a crazy one but be interesting to know if you ever get nervous. Thanks.

Nope, never nervous. I know how safe these planes are and how well trained pilots are. Lot more dangerous to drive than fly, I promise it’s safe. Hope you get up in the sky more soon!
