TheSpanglerEffect That was an awesome video! I was wondering if that hot air could have possible uses for clean energy. How hot exactly is the air inside the bag? What is the ideal temperature difference between the air and the outside conditions to fly the solar bag? Could that heat be channeled into energy? Could that be used to heat a tent up in the mountains? Or a cabin? Something like an array of bags outside a house in winter with copper tubing inside circulating the cold air of the house with the help of a pump. I understand the bags are fragile but they could be inside a glass case with holes to allow air circulation and temperature contrast. I love the ingenuity and simplicity of the design. The future of energy should look more like that humble bag that gently catches and releases solar power without harmful residual substances.

I used to love this as a kid, the ones I had were broader in circumference, but not as long. More like a zeppelin. This huge zeppelin just hanging above my neighborhood. They're extremely fragile though..
