Awesome performance gentlemen! I really enjoyed the balance and together playing of this fine trumpet section. All of the improvisational solos that were traded off were complimentary toward each player and they all merged well for quite an exciting finish. With that being said... time to get my horn out!

This was one of Charlie Sayre's. He was my composition instructor in grad school. He told me in an email, "I wrote [this piece] about 50 years ago for the USAF jazz ensemble(the Airmen of Note). I had never heard a recording of it until just a few weeks ago when a recent live performance showed up on youtube."
