Hello, I've changed my wlan0 to monitor mode but when I run airodump-ng I receive no data from any available network and hence I can't receive a handshake to crack.

My adapter supports both 2 and 5 ghz, and also supports monitor mode, but it is still not showing networks. Its model is TP-Link Archer T4U.

@@TQDGGamer I needed to choose my adapter in USB section of kali vm, but when I clicked the checkbox, it failed. Then I installed kali on vm manually, that is, I installed ISO file, and I did not import ready kali: I created new machine with that ISO file. I do not know, but it worked.

from where can i get the usb? and what does it do? sorry if this question is so weird but i'm a newbie in kali :/

There are many websites you can get wifi adapters from. I got my particular one from amazon, but you can also get it from websites like Ebay. Before purchasing, make sure the USB wifi adapter supports packet injection and monitor Mode. If you have any other questions, your welcome to ask.

i tried every thing but when star airodump its just searching and cant find anything some times it work like 20 minutes it will find some nets but 20 minutes is little bit much in every video ı ever watch it can finde nets quickly pls help me
