Since it has no obstacle sensors is it better to go with dji mini 4 pro or save huge money and get mini 3. I am really scared of crashing it 😂😂

Milla, I’m just looking into this hobby and came across the DJI Mini 3. Still practicing on the much smaller toy drones. As a beginner, how comfortable are these to fly? They look so much more controllable/maneuverable than the smaller toy drones I’m practicing with. Can you give me an idea of what it was like with your first flight on the Mini 3? OMG!!!!!! tried today to through the online tutorial......(got my Mini 3 delivered yesterday) I simply lost the will to live after 4 hours of trying to deal with a foreign language in the background, an English voice in the foreground and the subtitles which took up 25% of the screen. (I'm an oldie.... so by that time I was in tears) However, I walked away from it and looked on KZfaq... and Jeez, thanks so much. You have made it look as simple as it claims to be. I'll work on the points you've raised and I simply cannot thank you enough for your calm and collected way you describe each function. Maybe just maybe tomorrow I might get this little mite off the ground the morrow. Xxxxz

I just took my brand new Mini 3 up for the first time after getting a recreational certificate, getting a Part 107 Temporary Certificate earlier this week, buying my first drone, and registering it under Part 107 this afternoon after jumping through a few hoops to get the Fresh Care Service I paid for when I bought it, but the activation code didn't come. Your video made my first flight the easiest part of dealing with the drone today. I mean in addition to the Fresh Care fiasco, I had to buy a Micro SDXC card that didn't come as it was supposed to, had to run to Walmart for a 30 W charging brick or I would still be waiting for it to charge, and I stopped at the dollar store to buy a folder to put my Trust Certificate, my Part 107 Temporary Certificate, and the drone registration in too. Oh and of course I used the label maker I bought yesterday to put the registration number on it and my contact info in case I had a fly away & someone found it.

Just dont complacent with flying it. Today on a job I hit some leaves in a tree with a mini1. It dropped 10 feet to the ground. I thought it was ok so I took it up again and it just took off vertically until it lost connection then dropped 600 feet and crashed. Now Im looking at a new one...

Anxiety ? Lol just did the first flight test today ,i started to rain , and tried to have the drone go lower ,it went towards a shrub and started to chop leaves ! Great leave trimmer ogm ! I was panicked all right ! Its not a cheap item ! And so fragile it seems ,we landed all right lol waiting for the next sunny day ! Thank you for your tutorial ❤

Looking at diving into this hobby. Really interested in this type of flying. Been playing around with the smaller toy drones for practice. This one seems much more precise and maneuverable. So much to learn but looks like a lot of fun. If I do purchase a starter drone it most definitely would be this one. Looking forward to it.
