I recently got myself a pair of these in black. I already own the Sony’s and love them but lately i find myself gravitating to the AirPods way more. The sound is just so much clearer.

Currently the Lightening to 3.5 mm cable sold by Apple is one of the few cables that will work with the AirPods Max. The reason is because that cable is bi-directional for data flow. The other cheaper cables are not. The bi-directional is needed for the device to control the headset and the headset to control the plugged in device.

I wonder if the $45 Canadian Lightning to 3.5mm jack Apple cable would work? Super disappointing to have such an expensive pair of headphones and not be able to connect them to anything wired. I use my Bose QC 35 iis almost exclusively with the headphone jack on my PC and PS5.

They look nice on you. Yours was the first review I have seen on the silver headset. Very nice. Kind of classy. I laughed out-loud when you found that your phone doesn’t have an earphone Jack. I looked at my phone and realized I didn’t either. 😀 I ordered a set in black along with the cable. Won’t arrive until the end of February, beginning of March. Oh,well. Will just have to wait.

They would go into low power mode by themself in 5 minutes if you leave them out of the case and in ultra low power mode in 72 hours which disables Find My and Bluetooth. Still shot by yourself? Jenna, stunning! 🙌🏻🤍

@@scrawz1181 it came out with iOS 14 in mid September. It just took a little effort to get the AirPods to update. The latest update was for spatial audio on the new AirPods Max not Pros.

These would be horrible for editing since it alters the sound no matter how you use it. Using a lightning to 3.5mm also alters the sound and is not great for monitoring audio
