Amit. I have been so disappointed with the Stand up comedy in India because of the abusive language used, that I have strictly refrained from watching it for the past so many years. You are an epitome of super great humour in the cleanest and the most decent language possible. I have become a blind and ardent fan of You. Thank you for being here, for us.

I loved this comedy for two reasons. 1- Railway stations and Airports are extremely relatable places for most of us. 2- Your comedy is free of vulgar stuff that comedians tend to force upon their audience, thinking that they sound cool. Many so called comedians should watch your show and learn to keep their comedy clean, yet absolutely funny. Keep it up.

Every youngster looking to make a career in stand-up comedy should watch this video - it's a masterclass on taking a regular, almost-boring topic such as 'trains vs flights' (and stations vs airports, by extension), adding middle-class experiences to it and ending up with original, thoughtful and clean humour. I've seen hundreds of stand-up videos by now and on the basis of thousands of wasted hours, can say that Amit Tandon has cracked the code when it comes to being funny - and being consistently funny. Be it shopping or Facebook or international travel or exams or mobile cameras, his self-effacing humour never fails to produce a smile at the least. I know this sounds a lot like a paid review - I just wish it was... 😉😄

Waiting at railway stations could be a torture , but train journeys are the best❤️ On the contrary check-ins on airport are pretty eventful but I mostly get bored on flights... If its daytime it's mostly the scorching sun and if it's night, you see nothing else but your reflection..

Amitji, absolutely wonderful to hear this! I'm in a hospital and this sesson made me forget about my troubles. As I child, my feared was that the "turbulence" would drop me thru the drain of the IC! i did not hear you mention about sleeping on the floor of a railway station. That luxury wouldn't be allowed in the airport! My mother, younger brother and i did this in Sitapur railway station, 1985. I was 12 years old then. my recent trip by flight was very tense, it was my first in more than 3 years & the first after Covid-19. I had to constantly keep checking the time, the gate, the flight number, the baggage and the security checks really scared me the most! So I never enjoyed it, except the chance to look outside the windows during flight and appreciate Mera Bharat Mahaan I am yet to see the inside on an airline toilet, because I am claustrophobic I rarely drink so that I never get to use the toilet. I fear that if I see the flight toilet it will come in my nightmares as a place where I get stuck with the door jammed shut and the light going off. I think that fear may even cause me to die in my sleep, on my bed at home! Trains don't require any checks, you don't even have to fear about missing the train so no need to look at the time frequently, you have a bed to sleep and a fairly bigger toilet too. There are people eager to make conversations, you get a variety of eats; on the train or off it, you get to walk about, appreciate the scenery and get off railway platforms to take a stroll. Truly, with all the advances in the modes of travel, trains are the one that connect the peoples with the land & other peoples. And, during my time in the early 80's there was a library coupe in the 1st class compartment of the KK express. You can borrow books to read (at our age it was comics- yes, there was Tintin too) by showing your ticket. I hope to take my son on a train journey and show him our Mera Bharat Mahaan. I hope he likes it as much as I did.
