I am just getting into airsoft and being in the UK, I don't use real guns, but that sight looks wonky to me? Is it intentional?

Now the only oart of airsoft that is cancer is speedsofters, nobody likes them, especially ones that keep calling other people noobs, and make a young one quit because some guy was being a shithead. Personally I've found one advantage to the red dot is that it assists me in focusing my vision for target acquisition as I'm cross eye dominant.

well, apart for pistol mount where you may choose the micro for lightweight, the best by far is the electro. All others have more frame around for a smaller glass

Would recommend going for a mid tier red dot for real firearms even on air soft. When I played I bang my sight against stuff on accident while playing and if you have a cheap replica it’s gonna throw the zero off wildly. I’m sure some replicas might be reasonably durable, but why not buy a decent sight you won’t ever have to replace and can throw on multiple setups. Something like the bushnell trs-25 (I know they came out with the 26) or sight mark would do the trick. I’ve also heard great things about monstrum tacticals prism sights from the channel 704tactical. Those can be had for under $100 and are reliable

I can't shoot both eyes open. I'm right handed but left eye dominant because I have better vision in my left. It just doesn't work.

I have an astigmatism in my right eye, effectively making me a cyclops. I can keep both eyes open when using irons or a red dot. It takes time for your brain to phase out or ignore the ghost image on the rifle from your non-dominant eye but I strongly recommend it

I’m in the same boat. I used to do a awkward lean over the rifle and shoot right handed but after some practice I’ve mastered shooting lefty. Still can’t shoot with both eyes open.

I'm left handed but right eye dominant. What I did was shoot my rifle as a righty instead for better and quicker focusing with my right eye. Dry fire and get used to shooting with your weak hand, you will have better accuracy in the long run and be able to switch to support hand if need be. But for my pistol I will still shoot left handed but either move the pistol closer to my right eye or move my head when so.

I have a 4x and then I got a rail attachment that's at an angle and I put I micro red dot on that. Cause my battery in my sight died a couple times and a friend recommended doing this.

I like red dots, particularly the open design "electro-style" sights, because they look cool. I usually aim by watching my bbs because Mt mask is way too thicc to get a good cheek weld

I got a flat glass screen sight but when I attached it the front sight on my mk18 lancer gun the front sight is visable in the middle of the glass where the dot will be. What do I do? Cut the front sight off? Because I'm pissed that I didnt order a taller one

I just ordered the A.C.M. Micro T-2 Style Red/Green Dot from your website. The same-ish one as in this video? I noticed the picture on the site is different from the one in this video, specifically the top of the actual Micro T-2 Red/Green Dot, and not so much the skeletonized riser. However, despite this, I did order it. How is it? I love the skeletonized look that I will be matching with a PTS Fortis Grip on my Krytac MK2 CRB!

Get a sheet of lexan and cut out a cover. Couple dots of hot glue and a little work and it will looks completely normal.

I suggest people to spend some good money on a legit Red dot sight. Most airsoft ones are really bad compare to real steel ones. Mainly the brightness and the resolution of the dot is way better. And they last forever so yeah.

Bone_Reaper Airsoft Go with a short dot or combat scope, Airsoft red dots will ALWAYS have noticeable parallax. I run a replica Specter DR and that works great as it doesn’t rely on reflection

Bone_Reaper Airsoft Yeah, go with a T1 or T2 replica for the least apparent parallax issues, if you like the style, the EOtech EXPS replicas are good too
