eat at some point? eat A LOT you mean. The phrase an army marches on it's stomach exists for a reason. The stress, physical activity and all things involved in combat makes for very hungry soldiers. Do you have any idea how insane it is logistically to feed an army on the march? people often look only on the combat or tactical aspect of things, But there is a whole parallel war happening - a logistic one, which is often overlooked.
