I absolutely love this gun! I run it as my primary DMR now that it's r-hopped and HPA'd. I'll be testing .40g BB's in it soon. Do not hesitate to buy this rifle. In its AEG form it also preforms great supplying lots of air via the V2.5 cylinder and T3 style gearbox. Plus, it's Glaz approved. also, dont push the tab to access the battery compartment all the way down. just 90 degrees. trust me, the shape of the lock is like a half circle. so if you do it 180 degrees, it wont come out. i have an cyma svd and it is the same way.

The rifle is fairly accurate to the SVU-AS, the SVU/SVU-A lack the bipod, and as with the SVU-A, the AS is select fire. The suppressor/muzzle brake is also the same as far as I can find. The real steel muzzle unit does in fact dampen sound, though its still not to the level one would consider 'supressed'.

Isnt the tip cross compatible with the hydra/inferno gen2? So that you only need to buy te offset nozle piece?

Just bought this on leaning for several weeks, closer to a month. And I kinda regret it but at the same time have fallen in love with it. I've heard parts are hard to come by and am kinda worried if it breaks I'm £270 down... How has this gun treated you? And how is it to mod as I'm planning on it being my first DMR

Yikes. It’s $190 here in the US. Something like 140GBP, maybe less. It will last you a long time stock. Only upgrade parts are from real sword. Email them for what they have available if you want to upgrade.

On the website it recommends 7.4 but the 11.1 seems so much better, so Should I go with one of those?

Yes, I use of with 11.1 lipo bateries and works better

how compatible with the realsword svd GB or hop and stuff even the mags do you know? i have a broken upgraded RS svd that pretty much cant be fixed wanted to know if parts compatible

Almost 100% compatible. If possible drop the complete RS GB into the SVU (after trigger mod) then check alignment.

I have actually wanted to do an HPA build on an SVU for ages, been working on a russian kit and this is the gun i want to go it. TELL ME EVERYTHING! aka how hard was the install? What do you do about the trigger. Any chance of a quick video overview of the completed build.

its not I've had this gun, 2 times returned to replace all lemons, hop up is shit, the design of the hop up is shit the metal rod that sticks out to stick to the grooves of the wheel brake like if it where plastic so the wheel spins freely. The barrel when taken out on both were nasty and had a slight bend in one. the air consistency is shit i got numbers from 390 to 435. the motor is weak as hell. this is a 250 dollar gun so like intermediate range for a gun so i would expect some decent quality but all i got was lancer gen 1. the gun ran like a car with no oil.
