Co2 or Green Gas? What Gas you can use in cold weather situations...
Tested with KJ Works M9 GBB, Co² & Ultrair Green Gas.

You should fill up the mag with some gas, and then release it. This will make the mag colder, so you can fit more gas into it, and overall have bette rperformance

You should use the appropriate gas for the given temperature. At 0ºC, that means black gas. It's fairly obvious green (propane) is not gonna do it, as it barely has about 55PSI at 0ºC, and red (propylene, Map Pro) will struggle as it has about 70PSI. Black gas has 105PSI at 0ºC, so it will run just like green does at 18ºC. Smooth.

In the winter, use a shotgun as a secondary or a super compact aeg . If you use m4 gags, then dont use an ar pistol unless its somthing like the arp9 which is basically an ar15 converted to 9mm in real steel. I can use whatever since i run an ak. Using a gun that takes the same mag is redundant and defeats the whole purpose of having it.

Dude, you did everyone wrong!! You need to use black gas, you need to keep the gas warm (i.e. inside or in a cooler with a heated pack), and you need to fill it without gas leaking on the intake valve outside and then put the bottle back in the warm source When I did that I had my Glock 18 working in 23 degrees F weather you can fire moderate full auto and a very snappy semi even below freezing!!

Hab leider keine TM Pistole zum Vergleich da. Wird aber etwas besser als die KJW mit GreenGas, jedoch schlechter als die KJW mit CO2 sein.

If you cool the mag, the functionality of the gun will worsen. Here's what you do. Yeah, the nozzle seal looks really bad. I get that with a Tokyo Marui mag I got for my WE gun, while the original WE mag fits the nozzle perfectly and doesn't leak at all while filling up, and doesn't take more than 2-3 seconds.

Replace the o-ring in the magwell. If you have a Green Gas pistol, and are using propane instead; the propane has caused that. Otherwise, it could be due to storing mags empty, or even just over time.

Devon Linden Both are a propellant for the BBs. Doesn't really matter what the propellant is. Only issue you may run into is having extra stress on some of the internals due to the higher pressures of CO2
