I am FINALLY satisfied that MERCEDES is NOW using the COMPRESSOR fridge-OMG- that took certified multiple letters and more to make that change........HOWEVER, the 1000 watt inverter is ridiculous and should be a 5000 watts like Roadtreks SS agile (which has TWO) and this unit should be ALL electric like Coachman beyond and Galleria etc........ONE fuel source is a MUST MERCEDES. Please make those changes in the 2021.5 MODEL year ASAP. At this price point the vehicle should have self park and MUCH more! Roadtreks are far better than this version in all areas! Mercedes catch up please!

I like Airstream, however, they are WAY BEHIND IN TECHNOLOGY. Roadtrek has a 19 ft Coach with Lithium Ion Batts, Under the Hood Generator, and a 3000 Watt Inverter. You can eliminate the propane tank making it an All Electric Coach. Even Coachmen has the Under The Hood Generator which eliminate needing a loud Onan Generator. I wish Airstream would get with it and offer an all Electric coach

Is the powered sliding door really new to the Sprinter? Chrysler minivans have had that feature since the late 90’s along with powered tailgates.

Good video but one thing I really wanted to see was not shown. The side window shades. Seen so many videos of the interstate 19 from different sales people and none of them have shown the side window shades which makes me wonder.

It's a great RV but it's a shame it doesn't come in a gas engine I want to drive to Mexico and the diesel fuel sold there is different than what's in the U.S.A. Our diesel fuel is low sulfur and you can do damage to the engine if you use another kind of diesel fuel

Good morning Mr. Miller, thank you for such an informative review of the 19. I am really interested in a combo: the Interstate 24 GT and the Caravel 22FB. My questions: 1) is it possible for the Interstate to add cushions for the profiled/sided seats in order to make those seats much more comfortable? 2) could the Caravel be furnished in a similar way to the Interstate? 3) can both models be ordered in Tommy Bahama trim?

Hi Isaac! I am not sure that I understand your question about the seats. They do have back cushions. It is not possible to have matching interiors, as they are two separate product lines. Also, the Tommy Bahama is no longer available in a travel trailer. I hope this helps!

Airstream of South Florida with the sided seats I mean if they can be provided with back and headrest, also a headrest in the middle seat. I also forgot if there can be tables for the seats. No problem with the Tommy Bahama and the matching options.

Can you or a subcontractor add more solar panels and lithium batteries so you can run the heater/AC without a hookup or running the generator? Big deal if you're boondocking. Also, how tall are you bcz I'm 6 ft and I see in the shower you are bumping your head, not that big of a deal but why not ask all the questions?

You didn't talk about insulation. I don't like a microwave that will not work off inverter. I hate that micro is on top where it is unsafe to take hot liquid bowl of soup out. If you spill any hot liquid coming out of mirco ; u will burn your face,arms, and chest. Microwave should always be put in a location that a 8 year old can reach. You never told us price.

And at 6 yr old I used microwave everyday especially if there is a blind person in family. The only reason u said an 8 yr old has no business..... is because u probably was not allowed in kitchen at 8 yrs old. In many countries cooking lessons starts when one is 4 yrs old. I have seen children at public Whole Foods using microwave. Please do not assume that a 8 yr old is not able to use micro. Beside all of the above, we have adults on Earth that are 4 feet tall and 40 years old and would not be able to use that micro. When van builders make vans they shouldn't put Micro at a unsafe height. That is all.

The Mercedes/ dodge chassis sucks in comparison to the Ford. The driver cabin is absolutely horrible, confining and offers little space or amenities.

Idk about that. The promaster is very nice but tight for taller drivers. The Ford Transit is extremely nice no doubt. But seating quality in MB can’t be beat.
