We switched from an Airstream 24 foot tour to a Gretch 24 foot ion Strada tour. Airstream product was crap compared to Gretch. Just look underneath a Gretch compared to Airstream and you will know. We had so many problems with our brand new Airstream and all they would offer is us to come back and try to fix. It was a 3 hour drive each way every time we went for a repair . We asked them to take our Airstream back and give us another one to try, but they wouldn't budge. Their customer service all the way to the top was terrible. We are excited to be taking our first big trip in our Gretch this week. We will keep you posted.

We looked at both the Interested and the Grech at the Hershey Show and although there are some nice creature comforts in the Interstate, the build quality is much better on the Grech.

Just getting started on our search for a van. This is a very informative video sharing all the pros and cons. The pictures at the end were really value added as it gave us more to think about. Nice Video. I think the comparison videos by people who actually use the vans are the best ones. I think the biggest con for the Airstream is that it was manufactured by Thor Motor Coach. I own a Thor van and the build quality is less than I like. I think they do a better job with the Airstream due to the price point, but it’s still Thor. You do mention the build quality and customer service of Gretch. As an end user, that is very important and sometimes gets lost in the moment when the original purchase is made. Again, love the video and appreciate your candid review.

Having purchased two Tiffin RV's from my "local" RV dealer and then purchasing an Airstream Interstate 19, the experience is night and day. Airstream customer service and dealership experience are far superior. The quality of the build is great and far exceeds earlier RV's I've owned. Also, having looked at the Grech a lot, I found the standard Interstate 19 with a generator and LP much better for camping. I like having a quiet little generator. Thanks. I will also say that followup from my Airstream saleman at Airstream of Salt Lake City was absolutely superb. Thanks Jimi.

Btw, I am very familiar with Grech and they are an excellent company that has lots of experience in upfitted high end vehicles. I remember you well when the entire industry was experiencing delays and all the frustrations that go with it. I live in SoCal as well and it’s terrific having a manufacturer nearby. Guys, thanks for this video. I have been waiting for a comparison video for some time. I have been researching vans for over two years and I have concluded that Grech are the best. The only negative on the Turismo is that it does not have a macérator. The larger Grech vans have it. In my opinion you left out the best feature of the Grech, it’s construction. Have you looked at the underside? Have you seen the videos on the factory construction process and the superior construction methods and materials used? That is the real difference. Yes, the items you pointed out are important, but they pale in comparison to the construction. I also wanted to point out your comment on the Grech not having a closet. That is why the bathroom is bigger? No space for a closet. You also commented on the counter space intruding on the bed. True, but in a Grech you get double induction burners. On an all electric Interstate you only get one induction burner. I see that you added Owl’s tire carrier and ladder. Also the storage boxes. Great products. Any intention of adding an owl front bumper with a winch and lights? Are those tires and wheels the original Grech wheels and tires? I did not see a video on the additions to your Turismo. Thanks!

Having the two-floor plan next to each other helps to see why we have less seating in rear or overhang or why bath little shifted removes the space for coat closet and pull out drawer

Thank you for your video! You have solidified our decision to go Grech. We are currently trying to decide between the Turismo and Terreno with the ion package. We are brand new to this and our travel needs seem similar to yours. Would you say the Turismo has enough room to accomidate a soon to be out of the house teen? We have a couple more years with our son before becoming empty nesters.

I think Grech should also take care of two things that you also highlighted in previous videos. 1. Floor Mat. They could use the full cab area mat that stays. 2. Better front cab blackout shades.

I thought your video was excellent and found very helpful. I also found the foam padding on the Grech not up to the quality of the airstream. Just too soft and for me almost a deal breaker. The drivers' seats are very comfortable and not sure why Grech doesn’t carry throughout the back seating. One thing I noticed on the Airstream 19 models is the driver’s seat does go back as far as a typical Mercedes driver’s seat because it is blocked by the bathroom. I am 6’2 and found it was a bit tight especially for long drives and could be a bigger issue for taller drivers. Also as noted in a previous post, driver’s seat does not fully swivel around for the same reason. As you point out, there seem to be several posts on the Airstream quality and customer service which is disappointing. Conversely, I received a call from Grech regional sales manager in a very positive way soon after a request for information. After looking at both the 19- and 23-foot Airstream and Grech models, I am leaning towards the 23 and wanted t to get your perspective on why you choose the 19. Are any significant limitations on the 23 when traveling? I was also looking at the Airstream Atlas which is not only 23 feet put a bit wider. Any insight on travel restrictions and consideration would be appreciated. Seems to be a great floorplan. Obviously pricey but offers more space and a full shower. Your video was one of the best I’ve seen, balancing an objective, unbiased comparison, so great job. Good luck with your adventure. Any advice you could provide would be appreciated.

Grech’s reputation is rapidly growing. So, don’t think “no one has heard of a Grech” is accurate. However, Appreciate the comparison. Will definitely look at both before making a decision.

Microwave is on the bottom/lower side (not good to get on knees and at 60 mph) and not top open for that location 6. Small Counter overhang in kitchen blocking the open view 7. No Separate Kitchen Screen 8. Loud Dometic A/C without heat strip 9. No Backsplash and Ceiling aluminum finish 10. No built-in shampoo, conditioner, or body wash station 11. Hello to both of you. First of all, I want to thank you for your channel. Your valuable experience is precious in order to properly select the choice and options for all buyers. Although Grech is a new player in this high-end Class B niche, there are no dealers in Canada unlike Airstream. Therefore, is there a way to import one at an equivalent total cost of a new airstream similar to your opinion? Currently, the only possible option is to buy a Greek at the limit of our common borders, pay a US state tax, then a Canadian federal sales tax, a provincial sales tax, add customs fees and convert our currencies...! At the end of this, no Canadian will be able to acquire one, unless it is registered in an American state and the vehicle remains in the USA for more than 6 months per year. Could a Grech representative perhaps find a solution to this impasse? Thank you for your collaboration. Hi thanks for your helpful vids, I have a weird question… which of these two vans had the best indoor Air Quality? Or put another way which had the least chemical smells, the least VOCs or less new car smell… I’m super sensitive to chemical outgassing ( migraines 😭) so looking for van with best air quality… does Tourismo have a strong smell compared to Interstate? Which would you say has better Air Quality? Luxury things like solid wood and other materials like aluminum help make the air quality healthier…so looking at these two luxury vans…or any other company who tries to limit formaldehyde and keep indoor RV air non toxic to not aggravate asthma and migraines and for general improved health of the owners… we spend lots of time in them sleeping etc so hopefully all RV companies will care more in the future and make efforts to keep indoor air clean…

the bath window in the Gretch is very nice. since a large percentage motorhomes are resold within 5 years Id be curious as to how much value each will retain for resale.

Grech nearest dealership and service center is closed to 900 miles away! Airstream/Mercedes Benz dealership less than 100 miles, North Eastern USA. If you don't reside reasonable close to California or Florida, purchasing a Grech Van would seem a risky investment at this time. The company requires more growth and expansion to promote serious interest from this Easterner, but I can be patient.

Grech looks like it just took the Airstream style, and made small changes.

Ugh, I don’t like that counter overlap. You could’ve and should’ve been able to use that as an additional set and it seems awkward. That was a bad design and a waste of a usable space.
