Sick! Great work! As a kid, I tried building the old Ertl kit THREE times. Even when I put it together the third time, I was in high school and really took my time with it. The plastic parts were so brittle and after I was finished, it really didn't look quite right. Some of the parts just didn't fit together as they should have. Your video has encouraged me to try my hand at this other kit.

Worked on 222's for a decade! Hated the POS! The engines at the time were time bombs waiting to go off! What was really a pain, was if one turbine went, it sometimes took out the good engine! Saw one we got from Japan that looked like you threw a frag grenade into the aft baggage compartment, the turbine wheel exploded and send turbine blades everywhere! Knew the mechanic for the television series Air Wolf and the nightmares he had keeping the POS flying! He worked at RMH out of Provo UT at the time!

@@Makross_82 ANYTHING you want to know about the triple deuce, just ask and I can tell you just about anything on that machine. No, I'm no expert, but do know my way around the 222/230! Great pilots machine, fast and stable, when it was not broken down or grounded!

Beautiful job. Just one more note to add. The lady was actually not black. She was like a slightly darker shade of Mercedes anthracite.

Looks great but a couple suggestions if I may. The main rotor blades should be the same color as the tail rotor, at least on top. Also the wings where the wheels retract have no doors on the real copter. I know the kit has plug in gear for landing and flight modes for display without the gear able to actually fold in so to replicate the look I suggest either painting the door covers black or leaving them off entirely

... also ... the main landing gear is in a decompressed position witch look "weird" when sitting on ground. (too bad for the left wheel but I am sure it is fixable). BEAUTIFUL model! Congratulations! ... I have the kit for several years, but no such skills, I haven't finished it yet, I don't want to pork it. ;-)

The front nose gear does have doors as do all the Bell 222.

Awesome job ! I'm sure you know Andy Probert created all the gadgets and reshaped this helicopter and the flight suits helmets and patches same guy created Back to the Future DeLorean time machine and Battlestar Galactica Cylons Star Trek next Generation space ship amazing

@@Makross_82 I built a 5-foot jet powered flying Delorean NO JOKE ! We mounted it on a $ 100,000 jet drone has 4 micro turbines see my DeLorean on yt at Daniel Hipps flying DeLorean see the drone fly on yt at Fusion Flight Jet drone this is my first build I have 2 DeLoreans the second is more detailed alot better I would be glad to send some behind the scenes pics I talked to Kevin Pike a lot while building this and also Andy Probert they liked our project it was awesome just communicating with them they were very approachable and helpful please let me know your thoughts thanks 😊

Un trabajo y bueno lastima que el modelo original que se pintó tenga errores en la nariz del bell es parecida no la misma termina muy puntiaguda cuando el bell termina más ancho y fina pero igual estáuy bueno

Beautiful model. However, I do have a few questions. What is the rear canopy glued together? I don’t see how anyone could enjoy the detail you put into it. If you can’t see it I really don’t understand this kit sense It’s got a complete detailed interior and when the fuselage is glued together, I just can’t see how you could view the interior of this kit

You are completely right once you finish is seal for ever...But the kit comes with a transparent fuselage that you will be able to see the inside...but you have to make the decision to go with the black fuselage or transparent..maybe one of this days i buy the kit again and do the transparent.

Really beautiful and weathered just right. Did you forget to remove the masking tape from the sky light windows and the side square windows of the resonance cameras? Apart from that, an excellent build 👌

The original Airwolf was "Toyota Grey" not black That's from one of the guys who built them.

Actually, the right color was officially called Phantom Gray. If I remember it correctly, it was a DuPont color.

I bought one of these models via Ebay and it was already painted and put together. I wanted it SO bad because the main rotors & tail rotors were supposed to spin when a battery was inserted into the machine. NOPE! They didn't! So...what am I going to do? Well, when my financial situation allows for me to do so, I'm going to buy the following RC versions of the following helicopters: 1. Airwolf 2. Airwolf II/Redwolf 3. Santini Air (I believe that this last one was a Bell 206 JetRanger) Hopefully, after I get my very first dirt bike, I can buy the above aircraft and get into the radio-controlled flying habit!!! I'm really excited about that!!!
