Yeah not to mention if you see the Manga version or Novel version. The lower members of the Loki Familia tried to interfere. Because they thought that Asterius belongs to the Loki Familia. Asterius just howled at them. Making them shit 💩 their pants. Asterius just swiped them away like the pieces for shit 💩 they are.

Asterius is a lvl 7 minotaur yet bell, a lvl 3 at the time stood his ground is quite impressive

i would say he is a level 3 with level 4 stats at that point of time. his passive ability ox slayer grants increase in overall stats when fighting ox monsters

To be noted, that asterios is half-dying because he already injured badly. In the novel bell keep aiming asterios's wound because he believed that's the only way to win, yet he still got stomped.

It seems to me that Ais's Avenger has manifested itself in this scene, yet we don't see it in the anime... The scene where Bell talks to Ais before leaving for the dungeon is also missing...

No it is a Magic Sword 🗡️. But for some reason it's shaped like an Axe 🪓. It was made by Tsubaki Collbrande. A Level 5 and captain of the Hephaestus Familia.

I think Asterius was only a single level below Ais, but i'm not sure if she could've been able to beat him if it went further. Asterius went on to fight without his damn arm like it's nothing and hasn't lost any momentum at all. Ais, on the other hand, started to feel her arm getting heavy after a single blow. My guess is she isn't really used to being in a pinch, so if this went on and it was 1v1 i dunno what'd happen.

From what I read Asterius was apparently lvl 7. Since he was grinding down in the deep floors like it was nothing. If Asterius didn’t lose his arm he would have destroyed Ais easily. But we also dont know how serious was Ais also.

@@camaela18 Ais didn't use her buff yet but she was clearly struggling. I doubt she'd hold back seeing how Asterius manhandled her entire party.

The Xenos can get stronger by eating the magic stones of monsters in the dungeon, unlike the adventurers who need to be status updates by there respected gods. Asterius was level grinding since he was reincarnated, beating Lyd not to long ago, at this point he was already a level 6.

@@yancy00 Yes he is higher level but she wasn't afraid. In novel it mentioned that Asterius' horns' blow was too powerful that it canceled Ais' skill and trembled her arm. But she wasn't afraid. She was about to use her skill but Gareth and Finn jumped in (If Ais used her magic and skill at full power Asterius would have died)

@@yancy00 You probably only read Main series I guess. Ais has a skill called avenger. Makes her stronger against monsters based on her hatred and Ais hates monster due to her past. Main series won't give you anything about Ais for now. We never get so Ais in her full power (rage tempest + avenger at it's top) but in danmemo 3rd anniversary level 3 Ais pushed back a black dragon from floor 70 with avenger Ais pushed it back pretty well. And in Sword Oratoria novels it's countless times mentiones Ais is fearless.

@@DrClawizdead She wanted to get rid of the Magic Sword 🗡️ and yes it was so Bell could fight against Asterius better. Bell himself admits that if Asterius didn't have that injury. He would have stood no chance. Plus it just showed the arrogance of the Loki Familia. Thinking they can defeat anything. They don't know that Asterius had gotten alot worse injuries in the Dungeon. When the Xenos found him. His flesh was burning off. So his arm being cut off is not going to do anything. To stop him.

Ais has assassin skills yet she fights as if she were a knight she should switch to poison weapons due to it is that easy for her to open small wounds

Everyone going on about how awesome this is really needs to read the book and realize how dirty they did Ais in the show. They literally turned this fight 180 degrees from how it's supposed to be. AIS KICKS ASTERIUS'S ASS IN THE BOOKS AND MANGA. The showrunners literally have a pathological hatred of her and took away her moment of glory. It's infuriating.

I can understand for Ais fans. For those who aren't, it paints Asterius as a big bad threat and I think a lot of anime onlys will greatly appreciate that. I do.

@@Mionikoi The problem is that this is part of the stripping out of all the cool and interesting scenes that Ais gets. So many people, anime-onlys in particular, think she's "bland", "boring", and "doesn't show up enough". This is a problem that the show is creating for itself, and now after Season 4 we have people going on about how Ryu is obviously the best because Ais never shows up. The show has deliberately shafted the main heroine.

@@thatrabidpotato8800the anime just showed up how strong is Bell was but literally I don’t like him very much it’s just like the way he get stronger is rely on the female all he mate and after reading the novel I know Ais isn’t look as boring as the anime shows. In novel, Ais shows more empathy and care about her friends but the anime doesn’t this really disappointed me. The powerful of Ais’s skills didn’t demonstrate to us too… that’s why the rate of anime wasn’t as good as the novel

This fight was really good. But there could have been a few more things to it make even better. I would have Asterius swing his fist ✊ like he did in the Novel and Manga. Blowing away all of the lower members of the Loki Familia that were standing over the Xenos like they are something like rag dolls. Seeing Bete and Tiona going through a wall when he pushes them back. Tione breaking her leg on Asterius' face. He throws her away. Grabbing Bete by the throat and squeezes til his face is purple and brings his back onto his knee. Thrashes him Hulk and Loki style. Then flicking Tiona away. Then uses his Magic Sword 🗡️. I would have had Asterius cut Ais' stomach as well as her shoulder. After Gareth and Finn come in. I would have had Finn charge and Tione yells "Get him captain!". With a smile on her face. Then that goes away. Asterius just grabs his spear with his horn and slams his head into the ground. Causing him to bleed from the head. Gareth gets angry and charges. Asterius just knocks his Axe 🪓 out of his hands with his own. Kicks him in the nuts. Making him cough up a bit of blood and fall to the ground in pain. Gareth's Axe 🪓 flies through the building Riveria is standing on. Causing it to crumble and Riveria falls down and gets badly hurt. Ais gets really angry and makes one final attempt. But Asterius just swipes her away. Causing her to through the ground. Asterius walks up to her. I would have had him put his Axe 🪓 down. Grabs her by the hair or clothing. Shows the people watching that he defeated the Loki Familia. Then roars. Making the lower members and citizens scared. He drops her. Then the smoke bombs appear. Lyd uses his fire 🔥 breath and Ray uses her voice to create space between them. So they can get away. Like they did in the Novel. Leaving the Loki Familia humiliated. As they all struggle to get back up. That's how I would have done Asterius VS the Loki Familia.

@bengyak tsang Takgyal Actually Bete, Tiona and Tione are LVL 5 Ais is "Low" 6 as she leveled up not so long ago (4 months if I recall correctly) Gareth, Finn and Riveria are LVL 6 Bell lost if you remember, he stand his ground because 3 factors 1- Ais took Asterius arm, that made him weeker, he had lost tons of blood and movement 2- LIARIS FREESE buff was activated (For those who don't know, LIARIS FREESE buff activates when Bell thinks and feels about getting stronger, specially with the thought of being kind of a hero from the past, he uses Argonaut some times in the novels doing a recap of the story of one of the heroes of the past) that buff activates and makes his falna burn in his back while giving him a little boost 3- Yes, he was LVL 3, but a High 3, after this battle he levels up because of that, Asterius was called that losing his arms and some other things made him become around a LVL 6, and if you saw the fight between Ais and Bell, you know that she says so "I cannot hold back against you anymore" as Bell has gotten stronger, has more technique and really became good at taking punches I actually love this battle (Top 5 of the series) because shows Bell as the one Hero that everyone was waiting to appear in the world, Hermes, Finn, Ais, Lefiya, Mord, and many other characters were having mixed feelings with Bell for protecting Wiene, but after that fight, they all knew that Bell was no joke, having a LVL 3 fighting with all his might while other LVL 1, 2 and 3 weren't even able to stand near Asterius Love Danmachinfor being so damn good and addicting

It blew up several city blocks, and Riveria’s barrier is the only reason it didn’t go even further than that. There isn’t really any “getting out of the way” of that.

Hating on loki familia is stupid if you ask me. They are the good guys of danmachi and if you read sword oratoria, you know what types of responsabilities they have on their shoulders. For severals thousands of years, monsters and humans have been at war against each other. There are countless tales about a hero protecting the people against the wicked and evil monsters, people have been educated to think that monsters are their enemies. Also a lot of adventurers like ais lost their family to monsters which makes them hate monsters. In this world, thinking that monsters that can be like humans is unimaginable and so sentient monsters would just be another threat to mankind.

It is showed in the anime, but not very well All Freya Familia Members contain High Rank Loki Familia Members to get in the middle of the fight, Finn and Ottar specially are the ones that went on talking about the fight while Bell kept his ground against Asterius Freya wanted to see how things were going to develop, so she ordered her Familia to get in the middle

Essas coisas que eu não gosto nos animes. Não levo a serio quando alguem usa Protagonismo e Roteirismo como argumento, porque não é, é so uma desculpa mas, momentos como esse me fazem pensar o que passa na cabeça do autor. Óbvio que a Ais é bem mais forte que o Asterios, ela teria acabado com ele senão fosse a necessidade de colocar o Bell de volta ao posto de heroi, porque ao invés de nerfar o personagem, so nao tira ele da momento?

I always wonder at this point other than ottar only finn was lvl 6 , leader of loki familia , but even then finn doesn't fights he has the least interest in levelling up nd yet he is the one of the only two lvl 6 guys

If mankind were to go as far as to extinguished another life just because how different, then I would be like Asterius here. Fighting for those who deserves freedom and the will to live rather humanity who wanted that right for their own kind and not with other beings. Ever since Gods and Goddess descended to the mortal realm, humans become infatuated with their deities. Distinguishing beings based on looks without consideration of its also the inside that matters. Close to their so called Gods for so long that their perspective of what is life is one sided to their side and that monsters don't count.
