This is another incredible and original work of late Shri RD Burman which demonstrates his musical prowess. This was directed by my dear friend late Shri Bharat Rangachary who I would lovingly call Ranga. He suddenly died in 1996 while directing Takkar, and at that point of time, he was working on the story of Bachchan Sahab's first production. The saddest thing that Ranga's loving wife Kalpana ji committed suicide soon after his untimely demise. He was a talented young man who was once an AD to the legendary late Shri Hrishikesh Mukherjee sahab. Sad ending to a promising career! RIP Ranga. I miss you.

ये गाना सुनकर लगता है लताजी पहाड़ोके बीच गा रही हैं। इनकी आवाज चट्टानोको टकराकर वापस आ रहीं है। क्या धुन है क्या आवाज है। ये गाना मैंने रेडियो पर सुना और यूट्यूब पर ढूंढने आगया । अगर यूट्यूब ना होता तो शायद ये गाना मैं इतनी जल्दी सुन नहीं पाता। इस सॉन्ग ने मेरे मूड को एकदम से बदल दिया यही होती है संगीत की ताकत इस सॉन्ग पर मैं यही कहूंगा ये बॉलीवुड ना होता ये गानोमे इतनी मेलोडी न होती अगर लताजी और आर.डी. बर्मन आप ना होते। दिल से प्रणाम लता दीदी और पंचम दा को। हमारा जीवन आपने धन्य कर दिया। अगर लता दीदी और पंचम दा के गाने ना होते तो हम इस दुनियामे ना होते।

Trust me I will never listen to Indian music of recent days since I use to listen great great Rafi, Mukesh, Kishore and one and only Lata ji,,, I wish I could ever listen Lata ji in live ,, she used to come UK before but I’m here for last 15 years and hoping one she will come as I don’t know whether as pak Brits I can go to India.

Ilayaraja exclusively uses flute in melodious way to tone up the song and also ladies group humming background like sadma movie song and neele neele ambar par tamil version etc. Here RD da would have used some assistant music artists from Ilayaraja troupe for this song. Ilayaraja also mastered the humming and flute technique from Hindustani and qawwali music. Here a different song Mana ho tum , being hum in the background used to enhance as well as flute in the second stance and song rendered by Yesu da in top pitch to fit hindi language . Seems you are passionate and have very good knowledge of music from Ilayaraja to Burman... If am not wrong the singer of that song Maana ho thum... Be had haseen... is Jesudas right... I feel blessed that am from south India to be more precise from Hyderabad because if you go a bit north I would have missed south movies and music and vice versa if a bit south where people don't talk, watch and listen to Hindi movies and songs. This way I don't miss out any flavour of our country...
