I’m Mexican and I can relate. A lot of other countries too, we kinda of don’t make it a normality to just move out and what not. We can if we want, but there’s nothing wrong with living with them if that’s what you want. Or them living with you. We value family very much idk if it’s like that for other countries as well, but I do see it often.

@varunrastogi9379 I have to be specific. I am not exactly carribbran. I am more south America but people don't understand this. We are a part of CARICOM. I am from Guyana 🇬🇾 but because of that connection. We share exactly the same culture as the people who actually live in the actual Caribbean. We have a habit of referring to ourselves as Caribbean people due to culture but only Caribbean and Guyanese people seem to truly understand that

I don't get that as late night talk show hosts are always joking around. Am sure the common question to ask a person from eastern countries is living with parents. It's not meant to irritate anybody, Americans also have joint families. But a Seinfeld episode explains it best that adults who stay with their parents are not married and not stable in professional life. All kinds of jokes are made about.

For the record Western society (especially the America) is built on the notion/ideology of endless greed and selfishness, give & take (just like a business deal/transaction), a place where kids move out of their parent's home after turning 18 to earn and live life for their own selves (on his/her own terms & conditions), rather than compromising or sacrificing their wishes/dreams for the sake of their elders or loved ones, and that's one of the reasons why marriages and family system doesn't last longer & forever in western countries, and why those nations have such a high divorce rate.

Before leaving the village at the lunch table, he put some money in and i noticed. On the way to the town, I asked him about that money. Well theu divided the world west and east, so what she said about parents is almost the normal and common thing for us people in Africa and Asia Children don't leave homes because they're over 18 But for good reasons Like have to pursue a creer in different city/country Got married for example... And it's insulting to live in same city and not in same house in some cultures

A sophisticated understanding of the nature of being and our relationship to the divine, beautiful arts practices, flavorful foods, warm hospitality, respect for the elders and end of life, matriarchy, reason and advanced thought in academic disciplines… Indians to me do both celebration/communal ritual equally with contemplative/intellectual observance.

Indian Folks who are demeaning her for not saying that Hindi is the official language, we should be proud of her for standing up for our culture against elitist bigots. Don't forget that the British ruled us for more than 200 years and they still think till date that they are better than us. He may be an American but his mindset is still of a colonizer. So, while everyone is trying to be protective of their own local language, make sure you remember that on the world stage, no one else cares about it. They would love to see us divided. So, don't show it to them. Show them that we are united and in support of our fellow country men and women. However much we disagree in the house, we don't fight about it in front of others. So, don't demean.
