In this vlog we will travel from Aizawl, Mizoram to a remote village in India-Myanmar border. The village is so small that it don’t have hotels or restaurants also.

I can't believe you've traveled to somewhere as remote as Khuangthing village (I don't even know which district it is in) and with such a high spirit. Kudos and bravo to you brother. Most would've stopped at Aizawl, Hmuifang, or Thenzawl. You are a true blue traveler. I'm from Lunglei, and I hope to see you come to our beautiful rustic southern town someday (Aizawl is nicknamed Zawlkhawpui and Lunglei is Leitlangpui, just the poetic way Mizos name our beloved places). Welcome to Mizoram. I hope you had a nice stay here in Mizoram. In Mizoran we usually practice meals in the morning around 8 :00am - 9:00 am, tea break in the afternoon 12:00- 1:00 pm, then dinner in the evening around 5:00 pm - 6:00pm. But in Aizawl, you can get breakfast, lunch and Dinner at any time. Now, for some families, the meal system has changed, like breakfast , lunch and dinner in the city due to various reasons. But, while travelling to other places (villages) the vehicle will stop for morning meal, tea etc... Tourist have to make adjustments for this meal system. This differs from place to place too in Mizoram. But, especially for tourist, in some places in Mizoram, you can have lunch or breakfast at the proper time. It's an adventure for tourist . Thank you for coming to experience the virgin lands and forests of Mizoram . Please visit again.

One of the reasons why there are so few hotels in Mizoram is due to a practice that has been passed down from our ancestors. Travelers would request to stay the night at any house in the village they stopped by. They would typically be welcomed warmly and the host would also prepare a meal for them. Another fun fact is that travelers almost never go empty-handed. They bring gifts of food or alcohol to share with their host.

Thank you for taking me to the deep interior of Mizoram, bordering Myanmar. I would have never got the opportunity to see the rural Mizoram otherwise. Super photography. The driver was manoeuvring the bus expertly. The villages and towns seem to be quite part from each other. Very little option for decent food, other than local Mizo delicacies, it appears. Great job.

Thank you for making a video on Mizoram ie Lushai Hills. Mizoram is a beautiful place,one should not miss to visit. These roads were built by BORDER ROADS ORGANIZATION earlier known as GREF at the time of inception. I worked in Mizoram and Nagaland for 3 years from 1963 to 1966 with GREF (B R O now) in 12 Field Work Shop. Once again I thank you for the beautiful video you presented. I wish I should visit now. Lot has changed. Wish you make video on Nagaland too.

I traveled mizoram for more than a decade with my truck, such a lovely state and people that I never had to think where I had to stay because people were very helpful they would take you to your home if you had any difficulty ❤❤

During my service life in '70/'80s at north east. There was no "pakki sarak " facility. But nowadays it's almost O.K. for journey along facility of transport. Only single trip for Ijwal and for Lunglei for whole day journey. we although plying in department vehicle due to "Insurgency" . However that days are in captured in mind computer due to non existent of mobile and camera. Thanks a lot To "SOUMIT".

Thank you brother for your video. I'm a Mizo from Mizoram. But I've never been to Khuangthing. Youve done a hreat job. Please go to Champhai and enter Myanmar and visit Rih Dil, a lake with deep connection with Mizo ancestors' religion. There is mythology on it. Rih Dil is naturally beautiful, a sizeable lake on the slope of a hill, having its own valley only about one and half km from boder.
