Usyk won't defend the belt. So stripping Usyk was the right thing to do. But I kinda agree... I'd have preferred DDD to win it in the ring against Hrgovic or Joshua in the next fight. Ideally the Hrgovic fight should've been for a vacant belt.

This is a terrible take. If you work your way up the rankings and become number one ranking, why should you have to wait because the champion is having a rematch? What if USYK decides to vacate after he beats fury again and in that time DDD lost via knockout and lost his ranking ? It wouldn't really be fair would it

@@Brandywine92 literally klitschko is the only guy to ever put him straight down with a big shot and he got up and recovered pretty well from it. Ruiz JR was a number of shots and still it was Joshua taking the knee from it pretty much. No heavy knockdowns so yeah, I really don't get the glass jaw comments

He didn't win against Usyk. That was pretty much below the belly-button and that's the rule, but Usyk came back later to make him quit. I see a 55/46 fight between him and *AJ* but if he blinks for a moment up against this version of *AJ* that I'm looking at, it's definitely going to be a total obliteration and *"Good Night"* for him !
