Ha ha. My younger sister was IN LOVE with Kevin and she was so sick and I heard the news that he and Brian had gotten married. I gently broke the news to her and she said “But....that’s impossible” and I said it was true. She said “But, they’re cousins!” 🤣 I was like “Not to each other!” Lol

I’ve met AJ about 4 times over the years during his trips to London touring and he honestly is one of the nicest guys ever! He’s really sweet and really funny and such a phenomenal singer! I’m really happy to hear he’s doing so well he deserves it.

Mayah Thomas, I totally agree with you. I’m a huge BSB fan since 96 and used to have a huge crush on Nick Carter but nowadays I must say that AJ is now my fave backstreet boy coz I think that out of all of them, AJ is the sweetest and really appreciates their fans. Even though he has that bad boy look but he actually is the sweetest of them all.

I have come that they may have life, and that they may have it more abundantly" The tragic thing about addiction is that is a miserable life here and there is a horrifying eternity waiting for all who die without Christ. I m a BsB fan since 1996 and I had the pleasure of meeting him in person 5 years ago , and he made my best friend/sister so happy ( she s been madly in love w him for more than 20 years ) right before she passed away , and I ll never forget that . I had the pleasure of meeting AJ when I toured with the guys last year in Europe. He is just as genuine in real life. He always made me feel comfortable and part of the tour. I'm sharing similar problems with my partner with drinking and it's been an inspiration for us watching his videos on his journey and growth. I really hope the best for him, the guys, and his family.

I don’t think AJ does not understand how much of a fashion icon he was/is. 5 year old me wanted his style so bad. Mesh tank tops, bandanas, sunglasses in the day, chains, rings, painted nails, I can go on!!! And he had the best vocals, too!!

Bsb was my childhood and I'm so proud of aj for getting sober. I struggled with alcohol and opiates for a long time and I'm now almost 3 yrs clean off opiates and 10 yrs clean from alcohol. I still listen to bsb today as a 42 yr old woman and i take my sobriety one day at a time like aj says. What's keeping me going right now is my love for music my love for my son and if i didn't have those 2 things to help me through i wouldn't be here right now. I lost my son 9 yrs ago and i carry the pain with me every day. I struggle from manic depression anxiety ptsd ect and it's hard but some how i keep fighting. I won't lie there are times i want to just give up but i don't. I will say music is a huge part of it i used to do the same as aj and run around singing into my hairbrush as a teenage girl i wanted to be a singer since age 4 but things in life including my depression got in the way plus health problems. I was always told i had a beautiful voice but because of things i was and still am dealing with it didn't happen and it most likely won't. But i still love to sing in my apt it helps my depression alot to just sing what I'm feeling. Thank you bsb for always making my dark days brighter💜😀

I'm a BSB fan from the start. When they came out I liked AJ the least, but since he publicly shared his struggles I absolutely love him. It made me realise he tried to keep up a bad boy image, which he really is not. I met him twice and he's a big teddy bear with such a tender personality ❤️

Proud of AJ. I've been a fan for over 20 years. I remember that announcement on TRL and seeing his ups and downs. I can say that he looks genuinely happy with his little family and is celebrating sobriety. Good for him and cheers to him and his family (Soda or water, though). All of them having kids really changed them for the positive.

He's learned from addiction and grown from it. Im proud of him for everything he's gone through. He fought his way out and continued to fight. His girls are very lucky to have their mom and him. I see no limits to what Aj can do.

AJ has now become my favourite BSB (sorry Brian). I've been a BSB fan for 26 years and seen them grow and become such accomplished performers but everyone has their struggles - private and public. I am so happy to see AJ so happy as he is today and grateful for God, life, his family and fans (of course). Its not easy to admit to things especially when it's such an easy part of the lifestyle he is around and I respect him for raising awareness and talking so openly, and i respect his courage to keep fighting his demons - a day at a time. I am glad he finally loves himself as he is so well loved by so many people on this planet 😊

This is something about this guys: they’re very straight with their appointments. Black&Blue tour was paused but they return and fished it. DNA Tour was paused by pandemic but 2 YEARS later they are fulfilling it 👏🏽

Met him last year after a show in Vegas and he refused to take pictures. He was in the casino bar with howie and their friends. He was still super kind and stood talking with me, but I had a feeling he was not in a sober state. I'm so happy to see him say he gave his addiction and surrendered it to God, having my own demons and doing the same (giving it to God) It is literally the only way to beat addiction. Longtime fan and super proud of AJ, can't wait to see them back on tour, hopefully next year!

You go boy, everyone hurts at one point or another, over anything and everything, just after finding ways to heal you will come across the best way, which will be the hardest but you can do it, keep it up, all the love in the world for you and your family, I've had it rough myself, not the same, but everyone has their own story

The part where is talked about his 3 yr old and her saying her daddy didn’t smell like her daddy. So moving and touching. AJ has been through a lot, and he is so blessed! I’m happy he is open about his struggles. I have an old acquaintance who’s actually the son of one of my mom’s long time friends who I actually got to know a little more as of recently, and he’s also been struggling with addiction as well. My now friend said he has cut a lot of people off since trying to get over his addiction, and many people have cut him off as well, even some of his own family members including his sister who is several years younger than him. I know he’s been so appreciative of me not being judgmental of him especially when he first told me which substances he’s used.

Of course you deserve a beautiful wife and kids. Only because you had some small bumps along life. Does not mean you do not deserve it. Yes you did. God bless you and your lovely family. Well Brian was my favorite first AJ my second fave since he went hell and back and for the people that diss these people Y’all aren’t true fans at all!! And AJ if you see this Much love dude you rock man!! Like Brian you also my hero and you have inspired me to never go that route. It’s because of you I wouldn’t ever no matter do drugs not that ever was tempted but this inspired me never to start Thank you AJ!! I’m so proud you dude Much love to you!!

I was never really a fan of boy bands or anything but I really like AJ and think he's awesome and cool. I hope he continues to go forward. Keep it up AJ. I'm rooting for him on Dancing with the Stars. It would be nice to meet AJ someday. He's very talented and such an awesome guy.

Keep it up. Hold onto those thoughts when moments get tough. I celebrated 8 years this past April and it's funny as it doesn't get easier, I've broken one day at a time down to one hour at a time , though it's not easier I feel so authentic in my sober journey. They have a cool trendy look as a family without trying. His wife is a mom and wife but still has a classy edge to her style, Aj still has the rocker & the beautiful daughter are like pop rock princesses. 🙏 to Aj's wife bc of her us BSB fans still has one of the best voices today.

I opened Aj for myself like 7 years ago, as a man, and the best BSB voice. Before their split in 2004 I was into Brian from 1996))) I knew Aj was taking drugs before, but now listening his soul speech I am shocked! hearing that all this time he was playing with drugs and alcohol! But no matter what I still love him! And his wife is my hero!!! Not so many women can deal with addicted guys! Love you Aj and I'm proud of your decision! You and your family deserve to live in love, peace and sober harmony! Still waiting for all of you in Ukraine! You promised to come here on meet and great in Las Vegas!
