Raga is from Karnatic music that we all agree. Varaha roopam has great resemblance to Navarasam..... Navarasam may have acted as a base for the song, but varaha roopam has been composed very well and it has touched the audience' s love and taste.Overall the whole movie is a wonderful piece of art

I was telling from the beginning that these 2 songs are different but The chord or raga makes it similar sometimes that's what Ajaneesh sir is saying suppose for example "Sa Re Ga Ma Pa" can be put in different music rock , classical, etc same varaha roopam is also a chord used in different composition.. i don't know why people who don't know music they are simply spreading fake information

Before making comment on copying please listen to the song Natrang, there is hardly any resemblance. Just because some raga matching, to say it is copied is absurd. It’s a mix of folk & film music. Let’s give the credit to music director for creating this masterpiece. When we talk about blending rock, due to limited tunes there definitely it will sound same. Listen to it as whole song to get the flavour. Success breads enemity !

I have listened to both, we cannot deny that songs definitely sound similar (in my opinion). But I can agree if you have used same ragas they tend to sound similar. I am not sure how intellectual property copyright applies here.

@@rajeevraysad3060 The Kirik party makers had announced first that they wanted to bring retro touch in the movie like Hamsalekha's era and hence they used the instrumentation like Hamsalekha's songs. some People simply created mess stating that it was copy. But the agenda was to give tribute to Hamsalekha and thus the tones sound similiar due to similar instruments used. Taking inspiration is absolutely not wrong and hence they won the case .

Just because Varaha Roopam sounds similar to Navarasam which came out 5 years ago they are crying. Its not a straight copy,, just inspiration. In my school days, I used to take inspiration from the guy sitting next to me in exams.... its was never a word to word copy but these bloody teachers always used to catch and punish me. Wish I was in school in 2022.

One bad thing about Rakshith Shetty and his lot is copying which Rakshit told in his first movie in a scene as inspired!! Atleast we have someone who is copying things a lot better and making it better than lot of his contemporaries.. Simpleaag ondh love story itself was “inspired” by 50 first dates !! 😁 all his other movies were also “inspired” (pulp fiction, POC, Prema loka) . The song is quite clearly an “inspiration” from the Malayalam track just like Kirk party song!! I feel it’s ok to Accept it !!
