Interesting insight about how assertive sportsmen like to be in charge of the game & hence the fascination o becoming a 'fast' bowler. Also, loads of appreciation for Ajay Jadeja, for highlighting T A Sekhar's name as the main pillar of MRF Pace Foundation. Indian Cricket owes him a lot for having a healthy pool of fast bowlers for many years now. Bowlers who are skillful & assertive on the ground without resorting to ill-mannered tantrums. :) :)

As a kid I was big fan of Ajay Jadeja.. he had swag.. he was the coolest guy on field.. He could bat well, bowl decent, good fielder and could communicate well during the interviews.

No it's not like that.. one of the reason is that we play cemented pitches and on road due to which there is not much swing.. we have beat batsman with pace.. secondly country is obsessed with speed. For example our gullly cricket meter of testing the quality of bowler is his pace . Everyone is like Bhai inki team main tezz bowler.

@raman one more thing is that fast bowler can take revenge from batsman by beating them with pace and hitting him which medium pacer and spinner can't.. it gives adrenaline rush ! 😂
