Another great video! Nesta, my number 1 name on my all time greatest team. Watching him defending was as thrilling as watching Ronaldinho dribbling. His tackles were a piece of art. Immaculate positioning, infinite class, and winning mentality and leadership since his early 20s. The perfect defender. The perfect player.

Maldini was more versatile as he could play LB and CB. I'd class Maldini as the best ever LB actually, but Nesta was a better CB than Maldini. Maldini was a phenomenal CB as well of course, but if we're splitting hairs then Nesta is a top 5 all time CB, Maldini maybe top 10 in that position.

Man I can really start an argue about that, but, Nesta, Maldini, Cannavarro, Cambiasso, Ambrosini, Zambrota, at Messi and Ronaldo time, all of them inside of 20's, Messi and Ronaldo will not live a decade without an injurie, that's why I prefer to Split, 2010 and above, different Rules, a lot of midea, more rules defense a little bit soft, Italians defenders , you can destroy him in one match, trust me, on the next one, you're dead. Just count how many times in this video Nesta makes tackles inside of the box, and how many he was not on the ground? A lot of respect about Messi and Ronaldo Career , but 1995 untill 2008 at least, there was a different football kkkk

Maldini was better as he is the best left back of all time just ahead of nilton santos, but as a centerback Nesta was even better than maldini costacurta and cannavaro. Only Baresi, Moore and Beckenbauer were better centerbacks than Alessandro Nesta.

This is just what I always say and always have thought. Nesta was a better CENTERBACK than Maldini was, since Maldini played mostly as a defensive Left Back, where he was the best at, but as CB Nesta was something else. Just as good as Baresi, Beckenbauer, Costacurta and Cannavaro.

@@muwafaqmosa5303 one Nesta is better than 10 maldini in the CB job. nesta,costacurta,chiellini,baresi and canavaro are the best for CB job. maldini is a LB and he did so good the CB job but he was just converted when he lost speed with age like ramos , both are great CB but they re not the best exemple for that job. nesta for me the best because he can do it dirty or clean. but 1 vs 1 the biggest nightmare for strikers was chiellini i never saw him humilated by anyone and even no one want to be close to him one day prime van persie provocate him he destroyed his ankle for 6months , u can only bit him like suarez or punch him like cavani and he never give u spaces , i remember how he transformed the prime dirty beast Zlatan to a domestic pet even retired at 38.yo he still control fast and strong players like lukaku . maldini is close more to nesta and ramos is close to chiellini he can do the job dirty with dangerous strikers. maldini was a cool defender everyone loves him even strikers. but defenders like chiellini he make strikers hate football 🤣🤣
