Tengo 23 años, cuando llego la bruja tenia 5 0 6 años. Claro... no me daba cuenta la dimension de jugador que habia vuelto a nuestro club. Si, no dudo que sean mejores lo que quise explicar es que a la bruja así como ves en los videos lo podia ver todas las semanas en la cancha que queda apocas cuadras de mi casa haciendo lujos, pases, regates, caños, etc. a Messi lo vi una sola vez y me tuve que ir a Bs As.

This is the most underrated player i've ever seen. Everyone says that Xavi and Iniesta are smart in football, but Verón is a genius yet no one ever talks about him as one of the greats at midfield. He could dribble like Ronaldinho was playing, he had skill, he had a great shot, he could deliver passes out of this world but he didn't get the recognition he deserved.

Me da risa cuando dicen que busquet es el mejor cinco de la historia, con todo respeto al lado de Verón no tiene nada que hacer..otra cosa es que allá jugado en el gran barca y se potenció.. Pero nunca tuvo ni el despliegue físico de la bruja, ni el pase de 40 metros, ni el pase de primera sorprendiendo ni la capacidad de pedir el balón constantemente,siendo el eje del equipo.. Fuera de eso te podía jugar de 5 ,de mixto o de 10..dígame uno que sea capas de jugar en cualquier posición del mediocampo.. Un mounstro la bruja..

Creador muy seguro de si de largo recorrido y caida a bandas, estilo inaudito y original informal pero muy afilado , siempre despierto al ver el chance, muy frontal y pragmatico ,breve y ahorrativo fuera toque innecesario. Lo contrario en estilo a Riquelme.

Incredible player... Zidane esque level of player..he just did not adapt to the PL and was too inconsistent, sadly. If only if only... :( Also this was around the time, alot of the elite players started to join the PL (2000 on wards), after United's CL successes. Where, before, most of them ended up in Serie A, La Liga or with Bayern.

I remember watching him when he 1st joined man utd and he looked unbelievable, some of the things he would do with the ball were a joke. But i guess he reminds of a Pogba type player that clearly has it… but is far too hot and cold.

Yeah that's because you only look at his career at United if you watch him in Serie A, you will clearly realize that he's absolutely NOTHING like Pogba! he was far from inconsistent, United just was not the team for him. In fact United is not the team for a lot of players not everybody can go there and play the same way they always do. United in Ferguson just like any other team on the planet had a specific way in which they wanted to play not every player with a flourished there, that doesn't mean the player in question wasn't good. Diego Forlan is another example of a wonderful player that was trash at United but was wonderful anywhere else but United.
