I didn't know about ears but it isn't hard to see how he moves his head when he doesn't like their vibes or they are simply in his space. I like that about him. Winder if they get home and read the sign.

They belong to the two different regiments of the Hcav, Arnie is a Lifeguard horse and Ormonde is a Blues and Royals horse..

Love this horse 😅 bet the guards are delighted when they're given Ormonde or Arnie ..they know they're not going to have tourists grabbing the reins and mauling at the horse..the guards must struggle to keep a straight face when these characterful mounts go in for the jugular 😂 it relieves the boredom for them 🤩

Ich bin erschrocken über Touristen, die keinen Respekt vor der Garde oder den klugen Pferden haben. Aber die intelligenten Vierbeiner wissen, wie man die dummen Zweibeiner in ihre Grenzen weist. Kleinen Kindern gegenüber sind sie aber großzügig und duldsam. Prächtige und kluge Vierbeiner!

Ormonde is a very intelligent horse, look at his level of alertness at 11:06 when people start chanting. I don't know what that's all about, but Ormonde becomes very alert. Beautiful horse! ❤

I agree 100%!!! I love her!!! She is a STAR!!! I wish she had a better name! Who gave her that awful name? It is a very masculine name for a female horse. And she is beautiful, she deserves a better name. I adore her!! She commands respect!! She really stands out. I agree, she is very intelligent. The fact that she rarely attacks children is testament to her intelligence that she detect the difference in threat level. I see the same guard on her each time. It looks like they are assigned horses. I wish he could provide more information on her. She is so special! I bet the Queen would have loved her as she loved horses but real intelligent ones are rare. She is fully aware of her surroundings. She is special. I so much wish the guards could talk, and tell us more about her. I am just madly in love with her. Sadly I live in the US or else I would have loved to have visited her.

From comments I've read on other channels those in charge want tourists to take photos with the guards and I wonder if dear Arnie hasn't come back because of nipping said tourists. I hope not. Arnie brought a lot of joy. Ormonde is gorgeous as well and takes no prisoners. Hopefully he'll be around a long time.

Love it. I am so happy that 100% of people like watching these beautiful horses saying come on make my day. Bite bite bite. Just amazing how they know who are the ones to target for a nip and the ones for a bite. Plus gentle with very small children. ♥️

Don't think the guard is to bothered from the mess of most girls women. Dressed in rags and a top thats far to small. These guards / gentleman would be to embarrassed to be seen with one of them IN MY OPINION.

There's a feisty mare too who looks like Ormonde has been coaching. She's a darling. John on London City Walks videos knows most of their names, sure he mentioned the Mare the other day? Check him out. One day Ormonde and she were both on box duty. Ormonde took chunk out of someone trying to sneak through the box, guard yelled at them to get out the way they came in and Ormonde went for them again. What a legend he is. He's been promoted from Trooper to Major, one of the videoers said last week. Well done our Major Ormonde, looks like extra biting went well? ❤😂😂😂😂😂😂😂😂 one of the soldiers in the barracks came out and shut back doors of box to stop it happening again. Some people too lazy to walk to side gate.

I must say it 🤬🤬🤬🤬🤬🤬me when a tourist goes up to the horse and if the horse does anything the tourist looks at the Guard as if to say do something!!!!! READ THE SIGN!!! So glad Ormonde is putting them in their place!!!

Yesterday a horse had ahold of a woman’s sleeve and would not let go, she was looking at the guard like “ help me” . The guard did though, he got the horse to let go.

Well Done Ormonde....had to laugh when the bell went and he soon looked to the back of him, probably thinking there was his replacement there. Some of the tourists would test the patience of a Saint! Kudoos to both horse and trainor.

Great ! Hold your boundries from the obnoxious tourists. More Horses should be pro-active. The horse & guard are large enough to get a good photo without touching.

That horse may have a sense of humour because intelligent animals seem to have a sense of humour. My old work dog played a prank on me one day. I was leaning against my ute (dog caged in the back) talking to one of the workers. I was guarding a gate. We had been chatting for about 10min so the dog was perfectly comfortable in his cage. SUDDENLY he let out this MASSIVE bark and SMASHED into the cage door. I jumped about 12 inches in the air, spun around and saw my dog standing up with a large canine smile, sparkling eyes, and a wagging tail as if to say "GOTCHA". The worker thought it was hilarious what MY working dog did to ME. I let him win that one. Naughty dog.

Having virtually no previous knowledge of horses except knowing to hold your hand flat to give a carrot and that they need shoes, even I could have seen when a horse or in fact any animal wouldn't want to be touched. It's all about the tourist being there at the right time for a selfie and bugger anyone or thing else. 😠

Actually most balanced well trained horse like to be touched. Do not touch their reins unless you intend to lead the horse. Be gentle. The horse will know if you have good intentions. There are heaps of clips where the horse is enjoying a nice rub from a member of the public. There is even a clip where a King's Guard horse is rubbing his head against a woman's chest as she strokes his neck. A beautiful moment of shared trust and respect. I am sure that she owns or loves horses and the horse sensed it.

He sure was giving that fat little white dog the side eye at around 38+ seconds in. The dog’s owner knew it, too - she didn’t waste any time getting the picture taken and then moving away. Smart lady! 😂😂😂

I just love horse's no matter what they do but ormonde he's like don't mess with me or else, he's so professional like the kings guard's on horse back you just have to show so much respect . Ormonde is brilliant. Needs a saddle blanket showing the number of numpty tourists he's shot down. A bit like those WW2 aircraft had. Human figure with a red bar through it.
